Funny story about limp bizkit that happened to me last September and had to share. Hope this finds you well. Lol So my dad got a job in Hawaii and moved to Maui last July. We are from Indianapolis. Super small big town type of place. Corn bread and corn fed. Lmao So i go to visit in the end of September and it’s my last day there. We are at basically one of the only dive bars at the “triangle” in Maui. We don’t know what to play on the touch tunes, we choose limp bizkit. It comes on and the whole dive bar , full of Hawaiians GOES CRAZY. They’re all like “who played this song?!?” After it’s over. Then there was me (28) and my dad (51) , slowly raising our hands lol and then they came over and we made a bunch of friends and my dad met his gf that night bc of limpbizkit

Fun fact: colonoscopies take about 30 ish minutes depending on having to remove things or not. BUT! Once they reach the top of the colon, they HAVE to take 7 minutes when coming out. It’s to make sure it’s thoroughly inspected and nothing is missed. So surgeon lets you know when they get to the top and you start timing. Brain surgery is wild. I saw the pineal gland before, aneurysm clips, and all the things! Ortho surgery is hardcore. Like, woah. Plastic surgery takes FOREVER!!!!!!! Oh it was the worst. The stitches are perfect though. Gyno surgery is woah. They can literally stitch you shut… never doing-the-do again, but it’s pretty odd to think about. It’s sad to see how scared people are and the brave face they put on 🥺. I’m glad I got to be there with them though! You’ll most likely have a catheter but after you’re asleep. PLEASE NO EATING OR DRINKING!!!!!!!! No milk in your tea or sugar in your drink cause they may postpone or cancel your surgery. They listen to music the WHOLE surgery. It activates both sides of the brain so it’s actually helpful. Watching vascular surgery is INSANE! Like… sir, you cut that persons carotid to clean the plaque out… it’s so cool. Anyway… I’m a nerd for that stuff 😂. I do however work in psych now. I should be the patient and the blind is leading the blind. I love psych much more though. Okay. I hope y’all had good holidays 💚
