Not quite… it would be pointless to drink water if we just filtered it and we didn’t use it, we’re not Brita filters😂😂 the water is actually absorbed into our bloodstream by osmosis in both intestines. The kidneys actually filter our blood. The water we drink is actually more a toxin transporter so we can get rid of the ammonia and other toxins in our blood. This is also the reason why pee is sterile in a healthy person.

I have no idea if Joe & Frankie will see this but I still want to say it. 2024 was one of the my hardest years. I was broken up with by someone who gaslit me into believing we had a future, my mom lives states away from me, and then in April the worst of all happened... I got a call that my dad had passed away. One of the most consistent, dependable people in my life. Just gone, like that. Grief has been one of the hardest things to navigate and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to figure it out. Anywho.. all of that to just say that some of the only times I genuinely laughed this year was because of The Basement Yard. Joe & Frankie are so funny, genuine, and such a breath of fresh air when everything feels too heavy. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and thank you for sharing your humor. I know for a fact I'm not the only person who benefits from knowing that you exist. Thanks, again. I hope 2025 shows TBY all of the love and appreciation that it deserves.

When they were talking about “reinventing the body” I just kept thinking about my gastric bypass surgery! When I explain it to people, most do not know I essentially have a sort of leach field system now lolol except all the waste bypasses my stomach. I feel like if they knew the specifics of how the surgery works, it would absolutely blow their minds! Maybe I should reach out to OPL😂
