The Witch's *ahem* ~Reading~ Bench Animation WIP
🕑 Added 2025-10-03 23:37:36 +0000 UTCI wanted to share a little bit of a WIP update of this "reading" bench animation that I've been working on with IggyπΈ in September!
I've been interested in expanding things just a liiiittle bit beyond a looping animation, but as I worked on it I just kept having ideas and to be honest it got a little out of control. π So I'm going to try to approach it in stages:
Finish SFW/NSFW looping animations.
Add little storytelling frames around the main action to fill it out into a short animation.
Next time you see this there'll be some nice compositing fx on top of it and a changed up facial animation because I don't really like how I drew her face in the NSFW portion.
I am loathe to share things I'm not totally satisfied with but I know some of you are deviants and like seeing the ugly part of the process. π It's also just the facts that things don't go very well the first time, ever. I'm learning lots.
I'm really glad that I went for a simpler design at this point because I realized what I love drawing in comics is facial expressions and the kind of journey a face goes through while and anticipating and reacting to pleasure. With a simpler design like this I can indulge in that a bit more, pretty guilt free because I won't have to redraw something complex repeatedly.
That said, drawing this consistently on model is a weird new challenge for me. I'm going to keep chipping away at it between other projects and see where we get by the end of the month!

she's so cute! I also really like the detail of her eyes going back and forth. I'm glad she's able to concentrate on multiple things!
