Yeah, Lost in Translation is more about two humans connecting than it is a strict romance. Yet, the Google page for the movie gives the genre as "Romance/Comedy". Wikipedia calls it a "romantic comedy-drama film."

why isn't We Were Soldiers not on the war list. It's a top 5 war film of all time

I'm looking at the voting on the other post and currently Coming to America and Lost in Translation are tied in the lead. Neither of these films are romantic comedies? I guess you can make a case for Coming to America, but Lost in Translation??? It's literally about a platonic relationship! I have no idea how that qualifies.

Lost in translation!

Greetings from Germany. I Love Romancing the Stone (1984), it is romantic Comedy and Action adventure, with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.

I absolutely LOVE The Thin Man, but unfortunately it isn't streaming in Canada for Ames 😭 (even though it's widely available in the US) https://www.justwatch.com/ca/movie/the-thin-man

So many, many to choose from! For example, If one only did Tom Hanks: The Money Pit (1986) Joe vs. the Volcano (1990) Splash (1984) You've Got Mail (1998) Sleepless in Seattle (1993)

China Andronicus

How to Steal a Million (1996) Harold and Maude (1971) It Happened One Night (1934 and one of the highlights of the genre.) The Goodbye Girl (1977) What’s Up, Doc? (1972) Sense & Sensibility (1995) The Thin Man (1934). Not a definitive romcom but Nick and Nora are Relationship Goals.
