Would be nice to squeeze at least one in!

Mario

I picked Sports, Animation, and Rom-Coms. Sports & Animations because there isn't much of those genres on the channel and Rom-Com because I just like comedies in general. I'm less enthused about War, since I think that genre had been well represented for the past few months.

Yeah it's really hard to define "indie." Ghost Dog (great pick!) certainly FEELS like an indie. I guess we could define indie as produced by a non-major Hollywood studio (while allowing films that were picked up for distribution by a big studio). But what about foreign films? It gets tricky whether these count as indie or not Unfortunately, All That Jazz isn't streaming anywhere

James Rogers

No room for Documentary or Foreign? (Sigh) How about a nice Musical/Drama like All That Jazz? Is Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai considered an Indie?

Murphy

Noir-vember?

Amalia Wolf

Lmao it was suggested (I think as a joke ) but I personally can’t do it lol

LOTR is coming

AJ

Stripes? Kinda. Pinch of romance.

Who'da thunk it? War and Rom Com at 1 and 2 Now we just need some wartime rom com suggestions (don't recall any comedy in From Here to Eternity...)

WAR (e.g., Platoon, Glory [1989]). Always been a top genre for me since I was a kid. DRAMA (my favorite genre -- rather broad). Silver Linings Playbook or Lost in Translation could also be romantic comedy. Lincoln (2012) could also be considered War. I like historical pieces. WESTERN (e.g., Clint Eastwood westerns, such as The Outlaw Josey Wales -- post-spaghetti).

I like both Before Sunrise (1995) and Dances With Wolves (1990)

Sports! Coming of age! And indie! 😉👍

Jeb Manning

I'd be up for some fantasy movies

John Courtright

I'd be up for a romantic drama like Before Sunrise (1995), Meet Joe Black (1998), or Dances With Wolves (1990), which could also be considered a Western.
