SMILE (2022) watch along
🕑 Added 2024-10-29 16:00:17 +0000 UTCNever seen more creepy-ass smiles in my life than in this movie! It totally surprised me—it was such a fun, wild ride! I loved the eerie vibe they created and loved the colour tone of the film along with the colours in the set design, which made everything feel unsettling in the best way. The whole curse element was done so well, and it actually had some deeper meaning, which was cool.
The story kept me guessing the whole time with its twists and mind games, and they used some clever tricks to keep the tension high. The lead actor absolutely nailed it, and the direction pulled me right into the suspense LITERALLY. Overall, it’s one of those thrillers that sticks with you after it's over. I had to walk Mel to her car 🤣 Definitely worth watching if you love a good scare! Kinda a crazy climax! Have some mixed feelings but over all I enjoyed it!

My best friend has schizophrenia and is usually my horror buddy but refused to watch this because he sees this expression on many of his hallucinations. I can’t even imagine.

First time watch for me. Had no idea that Sosie Bacon is Kevin Bacon's daughter. Very nice performance.

The way Mel hid her eyes so much at this relatively tame movie has me HYPED for how you both handle When Evil Lurks lol

Every time I see videos or photos of Burrowing owls bending their heads down to look at you upside-down, it reminds me of this movie. LOL

Right!?? Can't you just PICTURE the auditions for this film? "Ok... You've been possessed by a demonic entity... Sit there and give us your creepiest smile"... "Try again this time Don't blink!".. .. "Wow.. thank you.. We'll let you know.." Hope you gave Mel your BEST SMILE as she climbed into her car..
