Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter
You ONLY need to support the Kickstarter campaign if you want more than one copy of Embers, or will switch it out when it is the Featured Wallet in the club package.
For this campaign, we will be using Kickstarter’s pledge manager for all backers. Shipping costs will be collected later through the pledge manager. You will need to calculate the amount to pledge based on the reward you wish to receive.
Choose the $1 Board Game of the Month Club Members reward level and adjust your pledge amount by adding bonus support:
Choose your reward from the list below.
Subtract your discount from the reward price.
Subtract $1 from that to find your total.
Go to Kickstarter and pledge under the $1 BGOTMC level.
Pledge your total from step 3 as BONUS SUPPORT.
Choose any add ons.
Shipping and taxes will be paid later in the pledge manager.
Embers is a solo-only game of survival. Use your heroes to defend against waves of encroaching monsters and keep your campfire lit.
Each turn, spawn new monsters to face. Spend each hero’s action points to move them around the campfire, defend against monsters, upgrade their abilities, support each other, and forage for material to keep the fire going.
After the heroes act, the monsters strike: damage the nearest hero or even the fire itself.
When the night card appears, time passes. Survive four hours until dawn without the fire being extinguished to win!

You can always swap out the main game with a certain selection of in stock games - see August 2025 Package - Choose your game & PNPs post for how this works.; however, you can’t swap out any of the additional things that comes for the month. For example, although you would be able to swap out the main Embers game, you would still get the Embers The New Guard expansion (plus some other expansion for something) for your BGOTM package. Hope that helps.

I’m looking forward to this game. I am new to the monthly club and see that this game and its expansion will be included as a monthly game in the future. If we back the KS, would we be able to change the monthly offering in the future? Or should I just wait for it to be offered as the monthly game?
