You puff up your chest and brace your fears as you push past the cemetery gate.
Immediately, a freezing chill confronts the both of you. Your breath becomes visible as you both huddle together to stay warm. You walk along the path littered with gravestones. You feel eyes on you, multiple eyes. The presence of the lost souls surround this space. The sounds of the wilderness are now replaced with the sounds of rusty lamps and signs swinging in the cold wind. Your body fills with fear but your goal and friend by your side keeps you pushing forward. You stumble over uneven paving and roots of trees digging through the cobblestone beneath you. You curse aloud and immediately cover your mouth, realizing your mistake. Your words pierce the silence like a blade and the whole cemetery seems to stand still, even the whistling of the wind dies down. The both of you freeze, aware of something approaching.
You close your eyes and cover your head expecting bones or rotten flesh to come flying towards you. Instead, a ghostly figure drifts towards you, its form foggy and undefined. It circles the both of you as if examining you two and hovers slightly above the ground. Its figure is large and you wonder who may still be bound to this realm. Just then, another apparition appears. You8 watch as a hand appears from thin air and slowly grab onto a nonexistent body part and revealing its form. You watch as the body first forms and then a head appears. This figure is much more defined and you can see a smile drawn across his face. His body shines.
"Well, well, well, look what the dead cat dragged in," he says in a playful manner without his mouth moving.
He paws behind the other figure and appears upside down, "My, my, why don't you help this poor lost soul? I'm sure he will have something to give."
You look at the cat whose head looks like it's about to fall off and then at the bunny. The bunny's eyes are shut tight and is too frozen to speak, shivering from fear and the cold.
> Follow the ghost.
> Question the cat.
> Try to make it into the mausoleum.
