You decide to lose the drones first.
You quickly dash in the opposite direction of the elevator and make a mental note of the path you take. You watch as one of the drones run in parallel with you. You duck through a couple of tents, behind a wagon, trying your best to lose it. You spot a huge crowd before you parading towards the Big Top and you duck into the blend of colors and quickly hide yourself. You are surrounded by jesters and clowns, jugglers, fire-eaters and performers, and people in many costumes. It's loud; the air filled with a twisted cheer with screams, laughs, yelling, and sounds of props being flung this way and that. You find yourself only waist high as an advantage as you double back amongst the crowd. None really notices or acknowledges you. You sneak into an empty tent and peek out to see if the drone knows where you are. Luckily, it seems to have lost you. You catch your breath and pull out the compass.
You hurriedly jog back towards the elevator but just before you reach your destination, you spot a couple of drones standing around guarding the perimeter. You curse under your breath and watch them intently, hoping they would leave. To your absolute surprise, you see a small white figure dart around behind the tent with the tarp and poke his head out. He pushes his glasses up, readjusts his red nose, and looks at the elevator buttons. He reaches up and tries to hit a button. He's on his tippy-toes and unable to reach it without exposing himself.
