Oh, I might not have played the version with manual saves at the desk. My apologies.

Isn't that already achievable by doing manual saves at the desk? I can make several autosaves that cycle, or a separate autosave for after entering a dream and after waking up, and maybe a third one that just functions every new room like now. I'm afraid saving mid room is out of the question due to how the game was designed mechanically. I can certainly try

Hmm, I think the problem is when it saves, and the way saving is forced on the player with no other way to save. Currently it saves after you wake-up, so if you mess up and want to just retry what you were experimenting with, you have to go do the daily stuff i.e. eat, drink, spend time. You can, I guess, just spam waiting activities but it's still a load of spamming just to retry. If you possibly gave a pop-up to save right after you hit sleep and after you wake up, I think that would be sufficient. Though I would love saving in dreams, that's more of just a plus.

I didn't think this was an issue since you can advance time with the bed.

I think I'm one of the few that thought the game was fine with auto-saves... i liked being able to advanced time by using the computer... so perhaps maybe put the saves one more level deep and still allow us use of the computer?
