Halloween Pumpkin Carving with the Rubber Woman
🕑 Added 2023-10-31 19:11:24 +0000 UTC'Damn those guys!' I grunt as I brush a branch out of my way, making my way cautiously through the overgrown garden towards the infamous Murder House.
'They're just trying to scare me!' I keep talking to myself, how else can I keep myself from being terrified? This place is infamous, why the hell would they go in without me?
'I can't-' hear them screaming any more... I swear they're just waiting for me to get close enough so they can jump out and laugh at me... To say they've shown up dressed as horror movie characters, I really don't like that idea!
'Why the hell do I hang around with these Chads anyway?' I grumble as I press on, getting closer as the orange light of torches and lanterns guides my way.
'I can't believe anyone even lives in this spooky place to light those things, I-' I see something... Is that... A Jack-O-Lantern? Who would put one on a mannequin and dress it in a robe...? Scary!
I shiver as I step out onto the path, my eyes catching another mannequin laid out with a pumpkin on its head. This one's dressed like.. 'Freddy Krueger?' I ask myself as I move forwards in a low crawl, close enough to see them in more detail.
I continue on forwards, the low light and knee-high fog just make this all the more frightening! 'I hate this. I hate this. I haaate this!' Keep talking, remember it's all just smoke and mirrors!
'Wait...' I don't wait, but keep going closer and closer to the two mannequins sprawled on the unsettling porch's steps. 'What characters did those guys say they were coming as?' I don't want to believe it's true... I don't know horror movies, but I recognise the red stripes pullover.
Something catches my eye as I creep closer to the body on the left, though through the fog I can't quite make it out. I creep closer and closer, reaching out my hand towards the white object beside the pumpkin head.
'He said...' I finally see it, a mask like the screaming face of a ghost! 'Ghostface?!' I recoil and swivel to look at the head of the figure... A pumpkin... with a knife sticking out of its eye-socket!

A face... what's left of a face!
Blood trickles from the eyehole and my heart can't take any more!
'AAAAAAAAGH!' I scream and in my panic, I trip. I tumble backwards, my eyes locked on the unbelievably horrific thing in front of me... That guy's... dead! It can't be him... It can't be-
I swing my eyes towards the other cosplaying figure and I freeze. Every flicker of warmth in my body escapes me as if the life has been sucked clean out of my body. That one's clearly a person too, clearly dead in equally horrifying fashion, but that's not what has me rooted to the spot...
I can't even breathe as I regard the dark figure in the corner of my eye, pure black and slender. I'm shaking as I finally turn my eyes little by little towards the figure stood at the top of the stairs.
'Just in time...' A woman, her voice as cruel as the air is cold! I watch her shiny boot move towards me as she takes a step, escaping the shadows just far enough for me to see the light dancing on her slick, black skin... It's not skin... It's a... suit?
'I had so much fun with your friends...' Sh-sh-sh-shs-she k-k-k-kill-killed them?! My eyes - shuddering uncontrollably like the rest of me - trace up her smooth, rubber-clad form only to meet eyes like Satan's own staring back from behind the mask of some kind of... gimp suit!
'-that I was hoping I'd have another pumpkin to carve!' In her hands... A pumpkin... and a knife! Just like the ones sticking out of my friends... She's... She's coming closer! I can't even draw breath to scream!
'N-nN-N-n-n-N-!' I try to resist as the hauntingly terrifying woman takes another step down the stairs. What is this I'm feeling beside the fear... beside the horror in what I see...?
Is it... lust?! How does someone so truly, unspeakably terrifying make me just want to... give up?! She moves like liquid, her hips swaying and her voice purring; I can't move, as if I'm trapped in her aura, already given over to my own, inevitable death.
'Let's get started, shall we?' She launches at me as if suddenly propelled forwards. All I can do is cover my face and close my eyes as I yelp!
'Halloween...' I hear her say as she yanks my hand away from my face with a strength like nothing on earth; I'm forced to look up at her! '-really is the best night of the year!' Darkness overcomes me; darkness and the unmistakable smell of pumpkin!
I reach up, trying at last to resist, but I can't dislodge the vegetable now mounted on my head. I can't see a damned thing, until... a faint slice of light accompanying the sound of literal slicing. It's right in front of me, my right eye catching one last glimpse of light.
It twinkles off the edge of the blade that made the incision, an incision that grows and grows until I can't help but blink.
'Ah-ah-ah! AH! AHHHH!' I blink and blink as I begin screaming, my eyelashes can feel the tip and a moment later the surface of my eye can too!
Now I know why they screamed, now I know why I thought I heard despicable, sadistic laughter! I scream like my friends did and the moans of the Rubber Woman accompany me to meet with them again.
