Nominate in the comments your favorite ships from BL Media (anime, manga, light novels, manhwa, live action dramas, etc) - I WILL ALLOW DANMEI SHIPS TO BE INCLUDED (novel, manhua, donghua, live action drama).
The only requirement is that the ship is from a piece of media that is categorized as BL officially: no banana fish, no derivative doujinshi, no fancomics, no canon-couples-but-not-BL and etc. Additionally the ship does not have to be canon, if you watched Junjou Romantica but you shipped Misaki with Kamijou - then nominate them you person of impeccable TASTE.
Deadline for Nominations is next tuesday - Shipping Wars as you all will learn is centered around Tuesdays, when in doubt a deadline and/or release is ON A TUESSSDAYYY. I need 16 noms in total, I will fill the gaps myself if I dont get enough noms. If someone posts a ship you would also like to nominate, like their comment, if I get more than 16 noms I will prioritize noms with the most likes then decide the rest by my personal discretion. If anyone nominates more than one in a single comment I will choose the first one mentioned and treat that ship as the one "with the most likes" from the likes on the comment. Keep in mind I do NOT have to know OR like the ship, my approach to choosing is different than a husbando bracket, its about FEELING even if that feeling may be DISGUST LMFAOOOOOOO

Schedule Change:
I have decided for my own sanity to chop my intended plans for Shipping Wars effectively in half. Weekly was not sustainable or realistic especially since Im about to have a BUSYYYYY september for content creation (dont ask when camp buddy's reboot is coming i do not even know LMAO It will be before the end of the year i swear).
The new release of the VIDEO portion of this will be every other week HOWEVER SW will have something related to it posted weekly regardless. The Biweekly schedule will alternate between a Video For Category A + Nominations For Category B one week followed by a Poll For Category B the next week and then Video/Noms>Poll>Video/Noms>Poll as it goes. This way you all will have a full week to both nominate ships for every new category as well as vote in the patron poll for each category's nominations.
I had the top 16 categories chosen from the google form but I have decided to cut it down to the Top 8 but i still plan to end this on new years eve as previously scheduled. There will be a total of 9 videos because the 9th will still be the top 16 ships consisting of the 8 i chose in each bracket, and the 8 chosen in the patron poll for each category as well. If we choose the same winner for one or multiple categories, Ill cross that bridge when we get there LMAO.
I will reveal the results of the google form category nominations and what categories just missed making the Top 8 in the final video/post for this Season 0 of Shipping Wars. I have also created a Shipping Wars Season 0 Collection where everything will go to be referred to and found.

Gotta return to a classic from "Sekaiichi": Yukina x Kisa edges out Takano x Onodera by a slim margin for me (having re-watched it as a ~30-something-year-old~ it was extra relatable lol). Another one that I regularly return to is "Fake" (the manga and the OVA) because damn, the will they won't they between Dee and Ryo is off the charts and it is so problematically camp. I also cannot forget to include Albert x Ranmaru from "Ikoku Irokoi Romantan" -- it's *Italian chef's kiss* (stupid) delicious.

Oh we can nominate manga, epic, I will formally submit Kouhei/Taichi from I Hear the Sunspot! (it is a manga series and recently got a live action adaptation!) I specify manga because the live action series is still very recent and hasn’t gotten to the parts of the story where the relationship really kicks in to full gear. KouTai is there for the looooooooong haul, lots of misunderstandings, speeches about loving the other, the rare talk of disability that’s actually extremely fresh and nuanced, and of course, the ~sensuality~. Our main duo got close to having sex (they thumb wrestled to see who’d top lol) but the author officially said they wanted a love scene SO FOUR SEASONS VOL 3 MAYBE??? Pray for us Kris

Controversial buuuut Sangwoo x Yoonbum and let me clarify, not in the context of the story itself really but moreso the idea of them coming across each other under different circumstances. Sangwoo in particular we see pre everything that happened to him was you know not inclined to murder and abuse….and I think the few tender moments and genuine moments of affection between him and Bum throughout the story was great. I really do see it kinda like right person at the wrong time.
