I agree with Flora... Jamie is so cool. Her thoughts on how people mix up love vs possession is certainly a theme we're seeing in the flashbacks with Peter and Rebecca. Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Peter Quint... previously Luke in Hill House) is English. So he is puttng on the Scottish accent. I'm assuming it's for underscoring class distinction purposes... which seem to be drivng him... that Peter has a chip on his shoulder about never truly be accepted in posh circles. But... Henry Thomas (Uncle Henry... previously Hugh Crain) is American. And he's attempting what I like to call the 'James Mason' style of English accent.

Happy to stay up for this as well. So glad that you doing 2 episodes until the end now... because this is a show that builds slowly, but steadily, to its stride. Which I think allows for a cozier, more personal connection to most of the characters.
