Chapter 121: This Might Be a Misunderstanding

"Come on, let's see who has the guts to invade Red Mountain Planet!"
With a loud shout, hundreds of people flooded into the spacious investigation hall. Apart from the Saiyans who were out on missions, all remaining Guard members crowded in, making the investigation center bustling with activity.
As the shout echoed, other Saiyans began shouting as well, turning the hall into a noisy market.
"Melos, keep quiet! Everyone else, too, what kind of behavior is this?" A cold reprimand suddenly sounded. The Saiyans immediately looked at each other. A well-built female Saiyan walked out, her fitting uniform accentuating her delicate yet strong figure.
"Ah, Shalyn, you're here too..." The Saiyan named Melos saw her and shrank his neck, smiling sheepishly.
The female Saiyan named Shalyn snorted coldly, her sharp gaze sweeping over the other Saiyans, instantly silencing everyone. Shalyn was not to be trifled with; she was a trusted aide to Lord Xavier and Mr. Adriel.
"I gathered everyone because the investigation center detected five foreign energy sources entering Red Mountain Planet, preliminarily identified as invaders."
Shalyn read from the report.
"Someone dares to invade Red Mountain Planet? Are they tired of living?" The speaker cracked his knuckles, a fierce expression on his face, his energy already starting to rise.
Shalyn nodded and signaled the Fidaians to display the data on the big screen. Soon, the screen showed the situation of Ditongjia and his team.
"Based on the current information, the combat power of these five invaders ranges from 12,000 to 17,000. Judging by their ship's markings, they seem to have a connection with the Galactic Patrol."
"Heh, they're just small fries with over ten thousand combat power..."
After learning the invaders' data, some Saiyans showed "disappointed" expressions. There were over six hundred Guard members present, with nearly a hundred elite warriors having combat power over ten thousand. It wouldn't be easy to allocate them all.
"But since they are linked to the Galactic Patrol, don't be too harsh. Be courteous and capture them alive," Shalyn reminded, seeing everyone's expressions.
Given their cooperation with the Galactic Patrol, they couldn't go overboard. Hearing Shalyn repeat Ditongjia's earlier words made one wonder how Ditongjia would react if he knew.
"Got it, we won't harm them!"
The Guard members casually agreed and then began to divide into teams. It was challenging to allocate over six hundred people for just five targets. Shortly after, five groups headed towards Ditongjia and his team's locations. Watching everyone leave, eager and ready for action, Shalyn knew her words had been ignored.
Oh well, those five are just unlucky. Why come to Red Mountain Planet in the first place? Hopefully, they'll remember to notify us next time, Shalyn thought.
……
On the other side, Ditongjia's figure swiftly flew across the sky, leaving behind forests and oases. However, as far as the eye could see, there were only primitive, uncivilized scenes. Seeing such scenery repeatedly made him irritable.
"Damn it, where are these Saiyans!" Ditongjia cursed, feeling an urge to blast the mountains ahead with an energy wave to draw the Saiyans out.
But as a mercenary for the Galactic Patrol, he couldn't resort to such violent methods. He had to stay calm! Ditongjia reminded himself, knowing that not many people followed the rules like he did.
Just then, he spotted over a hundred black dots in the distance.
"Hahaha, Saiyans, I've finally found you!"
His eyes lit up with joy. Ditongjia laughed out loud and accelerated toward the Saiyans, eager to vent his frustration on them.
"Look, that alien is flying towards us," a Saiyan on the other side said, noticing Ditongjia's approach with a curious expression.
"Everyone, be careful. His combat power is as high as 17,000. Stay safe!" The leading Saiyan shouted. Although they had the advantage in numbers and about twenty elite warriors, it was always wise to be cautious given the opponent's high combat power.
"Sir, what is your purpose in entering Red Mountain Planet without permission?" The leading Saiyan spoke politely, following the protocol of diplomacy before combat.
Ditongjia paused for a moment, then shouted in his booming voice, "Hahaha, I heard that the Saiyans have partnered with the Galactic Patrol. I'm here to see what qualifies you to work with them!"
"So, you mean..."
"I'm here to pick a fight!" Ditongjia declared arrogantly.
"Hehehe!" The Saiyans collectively exhaled, and the leading Saiyan laughed heartily before turning back and shouting, "You all heard him! He's here to pick a fight! What should we do?"
Lord Xavier told us to start with diplomacy and then move to combat. We've done the diplomacy, so now it's time for combat!
"Brothers, you heard him! It's time to act!"
With a shout, the hundred or so Saiyans quickly formed a circle, surrounding Ditongjia. Over a hundred against one, including twenty elite warriors and over eighty regular to near-elite Saiyans. It shouldn't be too much, right?
After all, he brought this upon himself!
Seeing this, Ditongjia frowned slightly. This situation seemed off.
Ditongjia's muscular frame appeared somewhat disadvantaged against the overwhelming numbers. He sighed and sneered, "The Saiyans have really fallen. You dare call yourselves a warrior race? Your behavior is worse than street thugs! What qualifies you to cooperate with the Galactic Patrol...?"
However, Ditongjia couldn't finish his sentence.
The surrounding Saiyans shouted in unison, and a surge of energy erupted like a tidal wave, sweeping over Ditongjia. The immense energy gathered like an ocean, spreading in all directions, freezing Ditongjia's expression in place.
"Hiss..."
"What's going on? How can there be so many powerful warriors among the Saiyans?" Ditongjia gasped, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Although he couldn't sense the exact strength of their energy, his years of experience in battles told him enough. The oppressive force that made the very air tremble continually assaulted Ditongjia's nerves, making his expression increasingly dismal.
Swallowing hard, Ditongjia forced a smile. "I say, this might be a misunderstanding. Do you believe me?"
The leading Saiyan laughed coldly, his expression turning icy. "What do you think?" Immediately, a group of Saiyans licked their lips and roared with excitement, swarming Ditongjia in a sea of bodies.
