Chapter 120: Someone Invades Red Mountain Planet?
🕑 Added 2024-06-03 17:11:41 +0000 UTCEver since the Saiyans started undertaking missions outside Red Mountain Planet, sightings of them began appearing in nearby star systems. This caused considerable anxiety among weaker civilizations familiar with the Saiyans' notorious reputation, fearing potential invasions.
After a period of nervous anticipation without any invasions, these civilizations realized that the Saiyans from Red Mountain Planet seemed different from the rumors. They breathed a sigh of relief, and some bold civilizations even attempted to make contact with the Saiyans, establishing a kind of protective employment relationship.
Red Mountain Planet graciously accepted these arrangements, gradually expanding its influence. However, due to the limited number of Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet, not many civilizations entered into such cooperation. Nonetheless, the Saiyans' reputation began to spread across several star systems near Red Mountain Planet in the East Galaxy.
...
A range of continuous mountains pierced the clouds, their snow-capped peaks blending with the mist, creating a serene and profound landscape. Suddenly, a deafening explosion echoed through the sky. A shadow descended, and a spaceship pierced the clouds, descending slowly.
The thunderous roar shattered the tranquility, and a flock of birds took flight from the dense forest covering the mountain slopes.
A luxurious dark gold spaceship, resembling a beast from ancient times, landed directly on the mountain range. The ground trembled violently, sinking like soft mud, and trees bent and broke under the pressure. Once the spaceship stabilized, five robust figures emerged from the hatch.
"Cough, cough, the air on Red Mountain Planet is quite nice. I didn't expect the Saiyans to preserve the planet's environment," commented Ditongjia, the team leader, after taking a breath of the planet's air.
In his mind, Saiyans were a crude and barbaric race, and the planets they conquered were always left ravaged, with significantly degraded environments. He was surprised that Red Mountain Planet still retained its pristine scenery.
"Hahaha, after all, it's the planet they depend on for survival, so perhaps they're more careful," replied his teammate, Jack.
Ditongjia nodded, taking another look at the surroundings. It was indeed a beautiful planet, and he thought it a pity that it was occupied by the Saiyans.
At this moment, Sain, the green-haired alien responsible for reconnaissance, operated the detection instruments and reported the findings:
"Red Mountain Planet, diameter 6768 kilometers, with 12 times standard gravity, ocean area covering about 67%, with 33% being polar ice caps. The habitable area is about 21%."
These parameters were standard for planets capable of supporting diverse life forms, with rich food chains fluctuating around these values.
"12 times gravity?"
Ditongjia was momentarily surprised, then felt the gravity on Red Mountain Planet. Indeed, it was 12 times normal gravity, but this didn't faze him. For beings like them, with power levels exceeding 10,000, living on high-gravity planets was common, so Red Mountain Planet's gravity was unremarkable.
"Hey Sain, check the status of the Saiyans. I'm itching for a fight," Jack laughed as he spoke.
"Yes, investigate the Saiyans' situation. Although they have established a partnership with the Galactic Patrol Organization, we still need to show them the strength of the Galactic Patrol. We can't let the Saiyans become too arrogant," shouted Avde, the most combative member of the Ditongjia Guard.
The green-haired alien, Sain, nodded and adjusted his wristwatch-like detector. With the electronic beeping sounds, a series of Saiyan data appeared on the screen. However, the data was chaotic, constantly fluctuating and appearing like gibberish.
Among the data, dozens of readings were particularly strange, fluctuating erratically. Suddenly, a few readings surged wildly, exceeding the detector's capacity. With a loud bang, the detector emitted smoke and was destroyed due to overload.
"What happened? Why did the detector burn out?" Ditongjia shouted.
This detector was a new product from the Galactic Patrol Organization, highly advanced with a capacity to measure up to nearly 50,000 combat power! How could such an advanced detector burn out just like that?
"Not sure, it might be a malfunction," Sain shook his head in confusion.
"Hmph, high-tech stuff is really unreliable!"
Ditongjia and his team couldn't fathom that the detector burned out because the target's power exceeded its limit, as they couldn't believe the Saiyans, even at their peak, could achieve such levels. Now, with only a few remnants left, how could they possibly manage that?
Recalling the series of bizarre gibberish on the screen, they concluded that it must be a malfunction.
They never would have guessed that all the data on the screen was real. The constantly changing data was due to the Saiyans attempting to control their energy.
"Brother, what do we do next? Without the detector, we can't locate the Saiyans," the cautious Visha asked Ditongjia.
This was indeed a problem. They should have brought more detectors. Ditongjia waved his hand and said, "We'll have to search bit by bit. Fortunately, Red Mountain Planet isn't large; we should find traces of the Saiyans with some effort."
"Damn, what a bad start!"
"Alright then, Jack, Avde, Sain, Visha, we'll search in different directions. Once anyone finds traces of the Saiyans, notify everyone immediately with the communicator," Ditongjia spat, resorting to the most cumbersome method.
"Yes!"
The team responded loudly. They weren't afraid of acting alone since each of them had a combat power of over 10,000, making them rare experts in the universe.
The five of them divided the search directions and began looking for traces of the Saiyans.
Meanwhile, as Ditongjia's spaceship entered the Red Mountain Planet's atmosphere, the monitoring system at the Guard's investigation center detected their presence.
When the system detected five unknown energy sources entering Red Mountain Planet, each exceeding 10,000 energy, the investigation center's alarm blared urgently.
The members of the Red Mountain Planet Guard, who were spread across the city for daily training, were momentarily stunned by the alarm signal. An invasion on Red Mountain Planet? Their expressions turned peculiar. Usually, it would be a blessing if the Saiyans didn't invade others, and now someone dared to invade Red Mountain Planet?
Their faces soon showed signs of excitement.
An invasion on Red Mountain Planet was the perfect opportunity for the Guard to fulfill their duty.
The Saiyans who remained on Red Mountain Planet and were not on missions all got ready, eagerly heading towards the investigation center.
