Chapter 106: Training and Reflection

This planet had at least a hundred times the gravity of Earth! Remembering the perilous moment from before, beads of sweat appeared on Xavier's forehead.
During the collapse of time-space, he endured Cooler's fierce blow, shattering his internal organs. The excruciating pain nearly made him lose consciousness. Fortunately, at the critical moment, Xavier managed to retrieve a Senzu Bean and consume it.
The Senzu Bean's healing properties restored his injuries completely.
At that point, Xavier was deeply buried underground. Realizing the vast power gap between himself and Cooler, he lost interest in the fight. He promptly concealed his energy and used Instant Transmission to escape from Planet Beq.
"Cooler has a base power level of 1.5 billion. Rumor has it he can transform a fourth time. Only as a Super Saiyan could I possibly contend with him!"
Xavier knew he lacked the power to resist Cooler, and the frustration in his heart began to subside. Although he hadn't gained any advantage in the battle with Cooler, the experience was invaluable.
"I was a bit too reckless this time!"
With a sigh, Xavier lowered his banners and began to review his impulsive actions. Honestly, if Cooler hadn't been toying with him and had used his full strength, Xavier's escape would have been uncertain.
Such head-to-head confrontations when there's a significant power disparity are like playing with fire! This highlighted the limitations of psychic powers, serving as a wake-up call for Xavier, who had overly relied on his time-space abilities.
"It seems that time-space abilities should only be used as support in combat. Relying on them as a trump card is unreliable, like gambling, and this time I almost lost completely!"
Recalling the previous danger, cold sweat broke out on Xavier's forehead.
"But the Frost Demons are indeed terrifying. Fortunately, there aren't many of them; otherwise, no amount of territory would be enough for them." There seems to be a law of balance in the depths of the universe: the stronger the individual power of a race, the fewer their numbers.
In the original work, the only beings stronger than the Frost Demons, aside from the Gods of Destruction, didn't naturally occur. Androids, Majin Buu, and Hirudegarn were all artificially created to some extent.
No wonder the Frost Demons always claimed to be the strongest race in the universe; their title is well-deserved.
Having consumed a Senzu Bean earlier, the gentle energy flowed throughout his body, instantly restoring his physical strength. However, while the Senzu Bean healed his physical injuries, it couldn't easily cure the aftereffects of his shattered abilities.
It would likely take several months to fully recover from the mental trauma.
"It's time to settle down and reflect." A thoughtful expression appeared on Xavier's face as he realized it was time to summarize his decades of learning and experiences, seeking his own path to becoming a true warrior.
Crack! Xavier moved his body, and his bones trembled, producing a series of crisp, crackling sounds like popping beans. Summoning his energy, Xavier was astonished to find it flowing within him like an endless river.
His energy surged dramatically, far beyond his previous limits.
Using his "Spirit Eye" to scan himself, the data that appeared made him ecstatic.
Xavier: 13 years old, Power Level 240,000!
240,000 power level—a sudden increase of 80,000! Xavier found it almost unbelievable.
After years of accumulation and the intense battle with Cooler, a part of his latent potential had been unlocked. Though it couldn't compare to Goku's dramatic power leap on Namek from 90,000 to 3,000,000 after being injured, Xavier was still immensely satisfied.
Goku's massive power boost always seemed a bit like cheating, almost unnatural. Or perhaps... Goku had simply accumulated potential for so long that it all burst out at once?
"I need to familiarize myself with this new power and heal the mental trauma!" Xavier calculated. He always believed that a solid foundation was crucial. Every bit of energy needed to be effectively utilized, becoming the cornerstone for future growth.
So, in the following days, Xavier trained intensively on this medium-sized planet.
"19,998!"
"19,999!"
"20,000!"
Day after day, Xavier engaged in regular training. On this planet with immense gravity, he completed twenty thousand jumps before stopping, wiping the sweat from his face, his eyes resolute. Then he began to run.
Xavier ran continuously, carrying heavy weights until his steps became staggered, and his thighs were filled with intense soreness and fatigue.
With a thud, his body collapsed to the ground, utterly exhausted. After sleeping for more than ten hours, Xavier woke up and resumed slightly simpler, moderate-intensity training. This cycle repeated, slowly honing his energy.
Five months later.
In a vast land filled with jagged rocks, the scorching sun blazed down from the sky, causing a burning sensation.
"Huff, huff!"
Near the expansive stone forest, several energy blasts shot out, shining with blue light. After launching the blasts, Xavier used Instant Transmission, appearing abruptly in front of them, taking a defensive stance.
With a deafening explosion, the energy blasts hit him, but as the smoke cleared, Xavier stood unscathed, brushing off the debris. His eyes flashed with determination as he summoned his energy.
Crack!
The vast earth beneath him undulated like waves, and dark cracks spread across the hard ground.
"Hah!" Xavier exerted more force, his energy surging like a tidal wave. Placing his palms in front of his chest, his fingers spread, forming a massive energy ball, emitting a brilliant, scorching light.
In that moment, Xavier seemed to transform into a radiant star, with debris slowly levitating around him, escaping the planet's gravity.
"Roar!"
His aura exploded outward, centered on Xavier, with massive amounts of energy condensing together, resembling roaring dragons devouring everything around them. The high-purity energy generated extreme temperatures, melting the surface rock instantly.
The powerful shockwave cut across the uneven ground, creating a harsh, hissing sound.
Boom! Boom!
A massive mushroom cloud rose skyward, quickly expanding to over a kilometer high, and the surrounding air trembled.
As the violent energy gradually subsided, a colossal crater, a kilometer wide and over fifty meters deep, appeared near Xavier. The crater was filled with molten rock, with light blue smoke wafting above it. Around the crater, concentric circles of destruction extended for tens of kilometers.
Gazing at the devastated land caused by his energy, Xavier's face showed a hint of satisfaction.
"I've finally mastered the energy within me. If I were to unleash a full-power attack, I could easily destroy this massive planet!"
After a brief moment of contemplation, Xavier understood his power clearly.
During these five months, aside from mastering his energy and solidifying his foundation, he also made significant progress in mental recovery. The injuries caused by the backlash of his abilities had healed.
Furthermore, he felt that his time-space abilities had made a breakthrough, especially in terms of Instant Transmission. It had become more fluid and intuitive, seemingly approaching the level of the Supreme Kai's teleportation.
