Because... I care for representation A LOT. And I care for all players to be able to represent themselves in the game, and also... because I'm a bit of a sarcastic dick, and the Sims 4 lacks that quirky mockery of popular culture and trends that made the other interactions of the game so special. Since Maxis cannot deliver sarcasm and everything is about realistic representation of real world shite nowadays, I decided to put my own sarcasm to good use.
This mod will give your Sims the privilege and duty to fight for Social Justice online!
Harass others on social media while boasting about your moral superiority and gaining followers, popularity, and reputation!
To begin, you must create a Social Network profile in-game, after which you will notice a new category under Social Network: Performative Activism.
Because it is a skill, you only have two interactions at first:
New interactions will unlock as you level up!
As I said above, you'll gain followers, fame and reputation from your online battles:
And also a boost to your Sim's ego
Social Interactions:
Your Sim can also cancel others in "real life" if they wish.
Vampires:
As a discriminated minority, Vampires have their very own set of interactions!
Get Famous:
You can pick a Sim or a celebrity Sim to cancel, and they'll lose fame and reputation!

Hey the mod isn’t working for me. I just have to download the file into my mods folder right? I can’t think of any conflicts with this mod. Sucks cause I’m super excited to try it.

No shouldn't clash with anything... Two things that can affect the interaction are: the XML injector and if you have a mod that unlocks the social network before reaching charisma 5 because I suspect i forgot to remove that requirement from the interactions so first of all try setting the skill to level in that case or updating the XML injector

Hey I'm having trouble finding this mod in game - finding the Social Network category to create a profile and use this... I have Arnie's Plumfruit so I wonder does that clash do you know? Wait - let me remove Plumfruit & check myself :)

Let's see if Patron works this time. Last time I was here it decided constantly not to transfer pledges and locked me out all the time :D I just had to say that this. This is the sense of humor missing from the game and without these sort of mods it would be pointless to play. I do appriciate all mods that fix the most ridiculous mistakes in the way the game works, but these systems you make take the game to more interesting levels. I mostly use sims for storytelling frame these days but I love that with these there are still suprises and the game can be enjoyable.

This needs to be exanded with activist actor and activist musician. On the musician path, tier 10 can de-platform ANY podcast with the threat to remove your music from a platform.

Does canceling a celebrity in sims 4 give a chance for fame decay and maybe the chance for said celebrity to be fired from their career and or be exiled from being talked to, in game? Definitely gonna play this mod tonight🤣

The truth often is hidden behind biting laughter, fun jokes, or harsh critiques...hopefully this will help wake people up to the reality of performative activism and the denial of liberty claimed to be so dear so we truly can reach an actually inclusive and diverse society. Either way, these are the type of mods that expand gameplay and give more depth to the Sims so thanks, I'm sure it'll be wild
