Discussion: S01 E04 Prismo the Wishmaster
🕑 Added 2024-01-19 22:19:35 +0000 UTCIncredible episode that is possibly recontextualizing the entire series and existence of F&C. This was hinted at subtly in 9x12 at the very end but I don’t think was before that unless Ice King had a line about “it just came to me” which would explain that. Nonetheless, it brings so much more endless and boundary pushing to an already limitless show. I love how prismo and Simon are in much darker, careless, and hopeless moods as it continues to make their characters deeper and relatable (he wasn’t upset about Jake). Then how Simon’s regretting the past plays into now the Fionna and Cake world we know being clouded and human. Also small callbacks to some of the adventures and characters we know now, the cosmic gods, and Prismo potentially ending up in jail. Also there is now a dimension chaser after them AND Simon wants to turn back into Ice King to save them. An episode that changes the entire trajectory and position of the worlds. Crazy! 9/10
