Nothing But The News- Part 6 (Finale)

“Good evening, everyone, and welcome to Nothing but the News.”
As I began reading the first story, I knew that viewers at home were waiting on the camera to pan over to see John standing in front of the video screen, but he was back home in Atlantic City now. He and his husband might even be watching this stream live, and that thought encouraged me to pull off my tie with a flourish that I didn’t know that I had.
Smoldering at the camera, I pulled from some inner source of confidence that had been blocked before. Months ago, I was a cocky son of a bitch who knew exactly who I was. I looked good, and I could pick up any guy that I wanted. Also, I wasn’t like some of the assholes that had their daddies get them their jobs here- I actually worked hard for what I got.
“Downtown this week, make sure to start your spooky season early as Beetlejuice comes to town at the Hallmark Theater. People are dying to get those tickets, so make sure to check out their website now for the hottest tickets in town.”
Ever since getting this new role, right after those interns had taken advantage of me, I had been in a funk. I always felt one step behind, but I think that I have finally caught up. I might have needed some humbling, but I still needed to know my self-worth. I also needed to know how to take what I deserved. I was the new cash cow for this studio, and I think there were certain people that didn’t realize that.
“Last week, we all got the treat of having a special guest as our weatherman, and even though he’s not here tonight, we think we have found someone who can step into his shoes.”
Bill turned to look at Mike behind the cameras, but the latter man didn’t move a muscle.
“Bill Hastings, why don’t you step into my office after I make myself more comfortable?”
Standing up, I ripped my shirt open in one pull, scattering buttons across the floor. I didn’t pay for these shirts, and neither did any of the men working in the bullpen or behind a camera. Throwing the balled-up fabric behind my desk, I gave the camera a flex and a wink as Bill actually walked into view.
“For everyone watching, Mr. Hastings here is the man who came up with this show, and I wanted to publicly thank him for this promotion.” I couldn’t see him perfectly with the bright lights in my eyes, but I could clearly see Mike’s teeth as a full grin spread across his face. He probably didn’t love Bill getting the credit for his idea, but he was fully on board with this plan. “I think everyone at home would also like to thank you as well.”
I had my arm around his shoulders, and I could feel them relax as he mistakenly thought that he knew what was happening.
“I don’t think we can leave until we give you the proper introduction though. Everyone on camera here at Nothing but the News has certain expectations, and as the creator of the show, I’m glad you’ll be honoring those.”
“Wait, Steve, I-”
“Don’t worry, just read what’s on the teleprompter there, and I’ll help you out back here.”
Pulling off his suit jacket, I began pulling undone the buttons on his shirt.
“Checking in on the t-temperatures across the metro area, it is d-definitely starting to heat up this week with some areas getting into the nineties.”
He was shaking as he read, and I was relishing this power upheaval. This was not the man who waltzed into my office last week and started sucking me off- this was a man who was under my control.
“It’s going to be a wet week as well with a warm front b-bringing in showers starting this weekend.”
Pulling open the last button, I sensually pulled his shirt over his shoulders to let it fall onto the floor, and I kicked it away to make sure that he wouldn’t have an easy getaway as he tried to finish this bit. Before he could walk away, I hooked my hand onto his belt and pulled him back.
“Not so fast mister, we’ve still got to do the sports reporter.”
The magic of live tv meant that there wasn’t much fighting back that he could do, and he knew that I had the upper hand. I could see the gears turning in his brain though as he tried to find some way out of this situation, but I was going down swinging.
“Now Steve, why don’t you model what I should be doing first?”
He was stalling, hoping that someone from upstairs was on their way down here to save him, but I wasn’t going to wait to see if he was right.
“You’re completely right, Bill.” Nancy in the wardrobe department had done me a favor yesterday, and that was paying off for me now. Gripping onto my pants, I pulled open the velcro seams in one fluid motion, leaving me standing there in just my briefs now. “Your pamts may not be able to do that, but I can still help you as you continue reading.”
There was an undertone of anger in his voice now as he read off baseball stats while I undid his expensive belt. The audible clang as it hit the floor made him jump, and he didn’t calm down once he felt my hands pulling his zipper down.
“Now Bill, I’m not sure if we have a score for the latest Red Sox versus White Sox game, so let’s instead show all of the viewers at home what color socks that you’re wearing today.”
“Wait!”
His warning fell on deaf ears though as I knelt down behind him and pulled his pants to his ankles. It would have been funnier for my bit if he had been wearing red or white socks, but they were a generic pair of black socks. As I stood back up, I noticed that he didn’t have the same taste in underwear though- he was wearing bright purple briefs that highlighted his impressive ass. The fabric barely covered him, and they fit like spandex in the best way.
“Purple might be the color of royalty, but I don’t know if Bill here is feeling like a king right now.”
The crew was laughing at my jokes, and I wondered if that noise was picked up on the mics. Did people at home think that this was all a planned joke, or did they realize that something was amiss?
Bill turned around quickly, ignoring the act for the cameras.
“What the fuck are you doing?!” He was aggressively whispering at me, but I just looked into his eyes, unfazed. “I will have you replaced tonight. You’re done.”
There was nothing I needed to say to him though, and I just leaned to my left and spoke to the camera.
“Looks like Bill is finally warming up to his new role- he’s already turned around to show off his assets to everyone at home.”
“Don’t-”
Again, his commands were useless here, and I grabbed onto his waistband and yanked those briefs to the ground, and as he tried to back away from me, he stumbled a bit and stepped out of his clothes before regaining his balance.
I bent down to pick them up as he reached for them, and he knew that he had lost. He was naked on live tv, and he now knew how I felt every week. His small dick was hanging out in the open, and he didn’t even try to cover himself as he lunged towards me.
“Bill- stop that!”
His hands were on me when the order was shouted from the other side of the room, and as he got up to see who else was joining the fray, his exposure was finally completed. It was as if his rage had caused him to black out and forget where he was because he was standing facing the camera now without covering any part of his exposed anatomy.
The laughter that couldn’t be contained is what brought him back to the present, and he looked down to see his nudity. Finally doing what he should have done five minutes ago, he ran off set without another word, and I knew that I had to finish my job.
Stepping into the center of the studio, right where Bill had just been humiliated, I began speaking without anything to read on the teleprompter.
“Well everyone, I think that shows that not everyone can do this job. There are so many people who write the script, plan out wardrobes, operate the cameras, and they each have their daily tasks. For me, my task is to deliver the news in the special way that you’ve come to expect on this show.”
Gripping onto my briefs, I pushed them down, but there was no shame here. Not now that I’d regained what had been lost.
“That’s the end of our show tonight, but we hope to see you again next week if there is still a show as I present nothing but the news to you. Good night, everybody.”
After waiting about five seconds, the green lights on the cameras turned red, and Mike stepped forward to slap me on the back.
“You actually pulled off the plan- good fucking job, man.”
I let him pull me into a hug before he reached down to grab my clothes for me, and I got dressed not knowing what was awaiting us on the other side of the doors that Bill had just barged through.
Five Months Later:
“Hey babe, quick meeting in the conference room in about five minutes. I’m gonna grab a coffee from downstairs first- do you want one?”
“You completely read my mind- can you grab me a mocha?”
“Done deal.”
As Mike closed my office door, I finished adding notes to tonight’s script, and I responded to a few last-minute emails. I missed when Mike had his office two doors down from me, but after he got promoted once Bill got let go, he had to move upstairs to the executive seat. He instead just started coming up with regular excuses to come down to my office.
Stepping out into the hallway, I said a few hellos to some of the other anchors on my way to the conference room. Tommy and Ramone were raiding the cabinets in the kitchen for snacks, and I tried not to stare at their asses for too long as they stretched up on their toes to reach something on the top shelf.
There were now six full-time anchors on the now hour-long show, and while we didn’t spend the whole day naked like I originally did, we did spend the last fifteen minutes before each now daily broadcast to get prepared.
Mike was still over the whole show, but I had been promoted to be over all of the anchors and their day-to-day responsibilities. It was a made-up position that barely had any extra responsibilities, but hey, there were perks to dating the boss.
He was at the door now, and I accepted his coffee as I stood at the tv at the head of the table.
“Okay, let’s get started.”

Great ending. It would be fun to do a sequel with Steve now a nude host of a competing naked news show, Maybe Bill, who now needs a job gets an offer from a competing network to be a nude newscaster after seeing him stripped on the show and that begins a competition that ends with the Bill joining the original team as a nude news host
