In this look back at the 2000 edition, we discuss the hype and financial disappointment around Almost Famous, the delayed release for Moulin Rouge!, the omnipresence of Survivor at the time of print, Jim Carrey learning torture survival techniques, and Now! Ok, need to rant about Traffic. Benicio Del Toros speaks Spanish like a VERY non-native speaker. It drove me crazy as a Méxican. Now I know how the Emilia Pérez haters felt (though none of those characters were Mexican in the film). And thank you for calling out the dirty brown colour tone used to show Mexico, ugh. Loved this episode!

I remember when Witchblade came out. I think I watched a few episodes here and there. But I also remember seeing ads & commercials everywhere!

I saw Remember the Titans when it first came to theaters as a senior in college. Ryan Gosling definitely does not die in it; his part is very small and kind of goofy.

The new ding for a movies covered on a previous episode is helpful, but it scared the hell out of me the first time.
