i wonder how he can even manage escaping situations like this but then stepping on a average sized puddle of goop can do him over instantly sometimes i do like the animation though so i'll give it a pass!

I'm a game designer myself, I talked to Dragon Snow about it already. He's using a rather dated RPG Maker engine. It has the double-edged sword issue of being easy and simple to use, but it has limitations. Particularly in the control mapping department. Game Maker in contrast has more functionality, but advanced technical skills are required and they take years to master. There are plugins that could implement a gamepad, but they're more trouble than they're worth.

Oh my goodness! It's crazy enough that we have "King Ghidorca" here trying to absorb us, but we're going to have to do THAT in order to escape the clutches of this abomination!? Oh this is going to be fun to watch! P.S. If anyone can think of a better nickname for the mutant orca, let us know.
