I don't think the foxes from the Library have a human host. Puro says he raised them and has never met a human. ...Imagine he fed humans to his livestock so they taste better. Changed would be a VERY different story. It's more that once they have a host they probably have to maintain a humanoid shape. The lion got squished by the locker door, so I kinda don't think there was a human in there.
