it has a nostalgic, homey sound to it - it reminds me of staying up late to play video games on the weekend when I was younger. I've always been a fan of "voices" for text boxes in games, since it helps the player read into the character a bit easier and as a result helps the player relate to them. I think it would definitely work well with Changed, helping players understand just what Puro and Dr. K are all about before truly getting to know them. Although, I'm a little unsure if Puro's voice is fitting or not hahaha

Oh, this change overall mood pretty well. But looks like this will add you lots of work to define sound for each text instance? But if you find a way to have a script read audience ID of the text box, guess it's way to go.

Actually it's a thing happens since retro time. Dragon Quest has it since early title. At least 3 different tone such as man/woman/demon.

I noticed that several games have multiple sound effects on their text boxes, games like Undertale, Shovel Knight, have each sound effects for every character.

This is really neat! I'd love to see it added to the game with a lighter tone like what Brendan said. The text sound effect is nice and nostalgic, it's also really good to use as a feedback noise so that text boxes feel more lively.

I would have changed the tone a bit. I feel like this sound would get tiring and strange sounding overtime. But I think it could sounds great with well, a different sound

I like this one because it looks like a family computer, although it feels a little strange from the previous CHANGED ones.
