“archive machine” = Save machine. “save” and “archive” have the same meaning, however, to preserve data, “save” is usually the common term to save it to your hard drive, “archive” on the other hand usually refer to a collection of information. Your translator must've think they're the same due to them being similar as computers store lots of data, and not to mention sites that preserve pages, images, and any data that are prone to go 404.
