It’s pretty simple:
Guitar - DI Box - (Amp Modeler) - Interface - Computer
You can even make it simpler if you don’t track DRY and WET signal simultaneously.
(“Dry” means completely dry and unprocessed guitar signal and “wet” means processed guitar sound with amp simulation and effects)
Guitar - Interface (instrument or Hi-Z input) - Computer (and do the rest with plugins)

great setup! haha yeah I also sold a lot of stuff during the last few years because amps and cabs are just too heavy, too loud and too big. I used the Nameless for quite a while. It's great!

Recently replaced my Audient ID14 with a RME Babyface, not cause I had too, but wanted to :) Guitar -> RME -> Reaper -> -> HS8 On occasion, Ill experiment, by using a direct box to record a track with a boosted signal with the Precision Drive on top of the direct signal. I have quite a few ampsims, but STL Josh Middleton is probably the one I use the most these days, and some of my other favorites include Nameless and Solidus VS8100 for that old school Death sound ;) Sold my amp a few years ago, loved it, but a Triple Rectifier in an apartment is not a good idea to keep your neighbors happy :D

Yeah I'm just splitting the signal because I usually record two different signals simultaneously to have the option to reamp afterwards.

Wanted to ask you what's the differences between the DI and sound card on inst but you are already answer in the video. So guitar -> quad cortex -> Komplete Audio 2 -> (DAW) -> KRK 5 And sometimes quad cortex -> neural plugin
