Brixel 1.1: Nature Update, part 1

Dear Patrons!
The first update for Brixel is now live!
You can download your version of the pack from the posts tagged as "Download - latest". The posts describe the new, simpler installation method that automatically does the whole Brixel configuration for you. This ensures that the pack will be set up properly for everyone.
It's recommended to use the pack with the latest stable version of Optifine, which is OptiFine HD U G8 (Minecraft 1.16.5). The preview version of Optifine for 1.17 still has many bugs that need to be fixed.
The Brixel 1.1 update focuses mainly on nature-related content, as requested by you in the Patron poll.
So, what's new in Brixel?
First of all, the Farmland blocks and most of the crops are "Brixelified" now. Wheat, Carrots, Beetroots and Potatoes now have custom models and textures for all of their growth stages.
You can till Dirt and Grass into Farmland, using the new Hoe, available in different materials.
Also, don't miss the new Saplings ! And check out the new bricky moon at night!
The highly anticipated sword is also here, so give those mobs some taste of plastic!

Bug fixes/polishing:
- Tweaked specularity of blocks in BSL version – the blocks are less glossy now.
- Grass and Tall Grass models are now full 3D. The old models (which may be more FPS-friendly) are available to download in “Download - optional” section.
- Tall Grass is now rotated randomly 90 degrees, in the same manner as normal Grass
- Revised “Brixel” text on Glass and Stained Glass
- Fixed Redstone Dust to be placed correctly in some configurations
- Fixed invisible block face between Grass Path and Farmland
- Fixed missing bottom texture on Grass Block Snow
- Added missing textures to Infested Stone
- Fixed model display for Wabbabrick (UI, frame and on the ground)
- Added missing “interpolate” parameter to lava in 1024x versions
- Fixed UI and in-hand appearance for some other items
- Fixed sounds for Glass, Snow and Cactus.
Other:
- To simplify installation and setup: implemented executable archive with resource pack and predefined settings for Optifine and shaders

Hey! The problem occurs when using a preview version of Optifine for 1.17. It works well on Optifine G8. It’s reconmended to use G8 until Optifine gets a stable version for 1.17.

for the ptgi version i am having an issue where their is a box in the top right corner of my screen is there a way to fix this that you know of since i think its a problem with the shader not the texture pack but I still thought I'd ask

Yes, that’s possible! The zip will appear by running the .exe in any other folder - it can be then installed manually in traditional way. But yes, I can add it as a separate attachment :)

I like the new instructions format but, for people that want to stick with the old way of installing resourcepacks, would you mind including the .zip version as well for future releases?

Yes, there is s solution to this - check the FAQ file that comes together with the pack.
My textures are flat and do not have the 3d texture, is there a fix.
