Poll - less glossy blocks (BSL)?

Hi guys!
Some of you asked me if the blocks in the BSL version could be made less "glossy". It's absolutely possible, I could fix that for the update.
So here is the poll:
How do you feel about the "glossy" blocks in the BSL version of the pack?

Thanks for the good ideas guys! I will reduce the gloss but won’t take it away totally (the textures and normal maps looks nicer when they have a bit of reflection). You can decide after the update if you like them. When it comes to making more difference in glossines of the materials - I will certainly do it in future updates! ;)

There are certain special blocks in [BRAND]. Like capes being made of fabric and string being made of... well... string. Maybe the majority of blocks can remain glossy but some blocks could have fabric like textures. (Banners, carpets, and wool especially) This would help diversify the look of the world, making the gloss less aggressive.

I think somewhat emulating the properties of the block that each texture represents could be cool. Like, of course everything is still lego bricks, but if it’s glass it’s glossier, dirt/grass it’s more diffuse, polished blocks somewhere in the middle, etc.
the glossy can be nice but when it looks too shiny it doesn't feel right. even if you look at it like its a Lego
Make it like the teaser for 1.1
Less glossy please :)

I see your point. It would take a bit of work to make many versions for each update. But I can give it a try. There will be a separate „downloads-optional” section soon where optional stuff can be downloaded.
I don't know how easy it is to change between glossy/not glossy, but maybe make both versions available? Lego bricks are made of plastic and are supposed to be glossy, so I feel like it'd be unfortunate if the gloss was taken away.

Yep. I'm currently not using it because it's too glossy for me.
