TYFTC! I was wondering why Brynn didn’t just try to duplicate the nectar. One option is that the nectar could be too high a level to duplicate which is what I initially thought. I am still unsure if his mana is tied to what is in the alchemy bottle, or if that is what is easiest. Has he ever tried producing something that is NOT currently in the bottle?

I spent some time kind of marinating on this problem (it was a mistake on my end to not think about the nectar and his bag of duplication). I remembered, though, that the bag has a stipulation about traded goods not working. Otherwise, Brynn would’ve been able to easily use it to basically print money once he found town. The “no trade” clause would also mean since someone else found the queen’s nectar and gave it to him, it was technically traded. I think my current plan will be to go in to that scene alone and had Brynn kind of gutted when he realizes he didn’t think of that until it was too late. The other possibility would be to go in and have brynn find it and secretly duplicate it. While it would give him a ton of money to keep half of the nectar for himself without telling anyone, I don’t feel like that is something Brynn would do. I can see him justifying the 40 silver or so worth of pheromone sacs, especially since he’s likely going to keep some for potion-making purposes. Also 40 silver split 15 ways isn’t going to be life changing money. If he pocketed 45 gold and kept 3 gold from everybody, that would be out of character for him, I think. So the simplest solution is probably just to actually be aware of the mistake, go in to that one scene, and clarify why he couldn’t duplicate it. That way, he can still duplicate monster parts (of epic quality and below) going forward.

And if they do, why not duplicate the nectar sac as well?

BubblyGhost

I thought the sacks didn't duplicate?
