Harry was finishing the last touches, he was dressed just in the way he was dressed the day he arrived to this universe, his clothes were the same but this time, he was clean, those clothes were washed by hand by Lily and he couldn’t help but smell his robes, he wanted to treasure them like in this state for the rest of his life.
“Are you ready Harry?” Asked Lily without knocking as she entered the guest room where he was staying.
“Yes, Mrs—Mum!” Harry said with an embarrassed expression.
It was difficult to get used to this, however, regardless of what he has been doing, this won’t last forever, and if things go well, in less than an hour starting from now, he’s going to be back in his universe.
Lily couldn’t help but sob at the realization and Harry quickly ran to hold her and soothe her, he learned from his dad that this is what he has to do if he faces a crying woman.
“It’s alright…Mum,” Harry said in a sad tone.
It’s clear that she didn’t want to say goodbye and he was in the same state, however, they knew the time was coming. It’s been a week since he destroyed the horcruxes and now, it was time to finish Voldemort, that’s why he’s getting ready, in a few minutes they’re visiting the ministry so Harry could throw Voldemort on the veil.
Turns out that the prophecy was real and after Dumbledore told Harry the prophecy, the thing appeared in the hall of prophecies which was alright because thanks to this they're going to be able to tell the world will of the defeat of the dark lord, however, while everyone is going to celebrate, the Potter family will mourn for the loss of their temporary addition.
“Uh…Harry…Lils, it’s time,” James decided to finally approach them.
Lily’s sobs increased but Harry nodded at his father and a few minutes later, the three of them went downstairs to meet the rest of the family and friends who were going to be there.
“So…Shall we get going?” Asked Harry with a calm tone.
Tonks and Kingsley nodded, they didn’t want to say goodbye to the young man, but he had a mission when he came here, it would be selfish for them to stop him.
“Yes, Harry…We’re going to escort you to the Department of Mysteries,” Kingsley said with a calm tone.
“Let’s go, Harry,” Tonks grabbed one of his arms and rested her head on his shoulder.
This caused the family and friends to look with pity at the young Auror while the other witches were looking at her with envy.
It took them less than a minute to get to department of mysteries and then, they arrived at a place that held so many painful memories for Harry, the death room, but most of all, the veil.
“Sirius, be careful to not fall down,” Harry warned his godfather from this universe who could only weakly smile at the young man.
He knew about what happened to his version in Harry’s universe. Before anyone could do or say anything else, a group of Aurors from the ICW and the country entered and they were holding Voldemort, the press was behind them to witness what was about to happen so the world could know about Voldemort's defeat.
Dumbledore was with them too and alongside the aged wizard there was a man with a mask, no doubt it was a worker from the department of mysteries, he was carrying a crystal ball that was glowing, it was the prophecy and there was also Amelia Bones the new head of DMLE, and Andromeda Tonks the new head of the Department of Justice.
“Good evening everyone…Today, on October 31st of the year 2025, on the day we celebrate Halloween and the anniversary of the attack on the Potters, it’s fitting to announce the execution of the one and only Tom Marvolo Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort,” many people shuddered after hearing the nickname.
However, others could only smirk as they looked at the figure of the most feared dark wizard, his taboo was used against himself, once Dumbledore killed most of his commandants and completely took over the ministry, he modified the taboo charm so instead of snatchers and death eaters appearing after naming the dark lord, Aurors, and Harry would know his location, thanks to that Voldemort couldn’t escape after he freed himself from Harry’s control.
“Well, this is it, Tom, the moment has finally come, your Horcruxes are gone, and right now many of your followers are facing justice while others are waiting for you in hell…Oh, wait, you’re not even going there, that’s the consequence of making Horcruxes, well that’s too bad for you,” Harry mocked the dark wizard.
Whatever thing they were expecting to hear from the dark lord, his maniacal laughter was the last thing they expected, either he was trying to cope with his defeat or he was going insane, more than he already was, this caused everyone to look at him with raised brows.
“Oh…You think you’re going to get rid of me so easily…The wizard may die but the ideas will continue, there’s going to be others who will take my place, and my child is going to avenge me!” He said with a cold tone.
Everyone shuddered at the thought of hearing that Voldemort had a child, they needed to find that child so they couldn't follow the same path as their father.
“Also, I’m not going alone, this place, this universe is—” Voldemort couldn’t continue because Harry suddenly decided to throw him on the veil at an incredible speed.
Everyone stared at the dark-haired wizard with shocked expressions, he didn’t hesitate, he just acted without thinking twice and while everyone was shocked by Harry’s actions, he was more concerned about Voldemort’s ramblings.
This was almost the same scene that took place in his universe, once again he gave Voldemort free time to talk and it seems like he was trying to do the same thing the Voldemort of his universe did, he was trying to collapse this universe.
Harry was waiting nervously for the universe to collapse, he was feeling so scared and concerned, this was the first time everyone had seen such an expression on his face but he was the only one who had experienced the collapse of his universe, that's not a great feeling.
“Hey everyone, look!” the man with the mask said as he pointed at the crystal ball in his hands.
Harry’s thoughts were interrupted the moment he saw what was going on, the crystal ball had no light, it was crystal clear once again, Harry decided to take the prophecy and tap it with his wand, and nothing happened, he couldn’t hear anything, in fact, the crystal ball wasn’t heavy anymore, it was as light as a feather which only meant one thing.
“It’s done…The prophecy has been fulfilled,” Harry said with a calm expression.
He sighed relieved at the realization that the Voldemort of this Universe couldn’t do it, he didn’t manage to collapse this universe but if his duty was done it only meant one thing.
“Well, I guess it’s time to say—” Harry couldn’t finish because suddenly, everyone but him froze.
The color was gone too, it was as if life and time had been paused, but before Harry could mutter something, he heard a voice, he knew very well.
“Hello Harry,” he turned his back to see who that voice belonged to.
It was a young pale girl but Harry knew her as death.

Very nice cliffie. I hope she gives him the option of staying in the universe he's in now. Ater all he's been through, he deserves some good things happening to him.
