What Lola promised them sounded like a very unfortunate and emotional event where you have to see again your deceased loved ones, Harry, Hermione, Victoire, and Charlie were taken aback by how the events unfolded, instead of this being a sad event this was actually a very cheerful and uplifting event as Lola and her huge family made a huge party to happily greet the souls of their deceased loved ones, Harry and his group of friends were surprisingly well received and included in the gathering.
Harry was even tempted to put something for his parents but he promised himself to never contact them again after he used the resurrection stone, they certainly wouldn’t appreciate him being still so attached to them, they would surely scold him and tell him to live his life so when the time comes to meet again he won't have any regrets, so, he decided to not do it even if it hurt him.
According to the tradition of the ofrenda (offering), you put an altar with the images of your loved ones with the food, drinks, and all things that they loved to eat when they were alive but everything must be done according to the specific day as the souls could only visit during a certain day depending on how they died, if the person didn't encounter any problem in the afterlife, they are supposed to visit around noon, a trail made with the petals of a certain yellow-orangish flower will lead them to the altar.
On October 28th, the ones that were supposed to visit were the souls of those who died tragically or in accidents, they decided to put Bill’s picture and his favorite food items according to Victoire but no matter how much they waited he didn’t appear with Lola's loved ones, and they were relieved because of that but they had the chance to meet Lola’s relatives who some of them had muggle kinds of deaths like car crashes or drowning while others died while experimenting magic, this brought memories to Harry and his friends about the Hogwarts ghosts, of course, this was a muggle tradition too but the muggles couldn’t see the ghosts as magical people would.
On October 29th, it was the turn for those forgotten souls and the ones stuck in purgatory, and even though there were no Lola relatives this time, the party continued as this time the ofrenda looked like a community center, countless souls came to eat, some of them wizards but most of them were muggles who became aware of magic after dying.
On October 30th and 31st, was the turn for the souls of children who died without being baptized, it was a difficult moment for Hermione, as some of them died while being really young, and even though most of the young souls that fit that visited died more than a hundred years ago due to the mortality rate of those days, Hermione still couldn’t help but think of her children, she practically spent the whole day speaking with them using the phone mirrors (the magical version of smartphones Hermione developed based on Sirius’ mirrors).
On November 1st it was time for children to visit, this time the ones who were baptized when they died, muggle and magical, Harry was surprised to see how devoted Mexican wizards were to the church even though they're still being prosecuted by them to this day, so, their beliefs were clearly a mix of Christianism and paganism, this is something Harry never questioned but he for sure knows that British wizards don’t want anything to do with muggle religions.
November 2nd finally came and this was the most important day, the highlight of the celebration, it was so important that not only Lola's family came to the celebration, but her friends were there too, in this case, Lola's grandchildren came too, lots of young witches and wizards came to the celebration, there were some young adults too, a young witch called Lucero with dark hair and honey eyes who couldn't keep those eyes off Harry and a young man named Andres.
Of course, the young man didn’t waste time and he tried to seduce Victoire, but even though the British witch couldn’t deny the attractiveness of the young brown-haired man with curls, honey eyes, and light skin, she still couldn’t keep Harry out of her mind and after seeing him acting so friendly with Lucero, she even tried to make him jealous by being so close with Andres but either Harry didn’t give a fuck or he was happy for her.
The last day was the most important as Lola’s husband visited them, but most of all, this day was the most important because this was the last day they could either confirm if Bill was dead or alive, however, this was also a good opportunity to talk with the man who knew the most about that place.
“My wife told me about you guys, even after death I can’t help but be amazed that there could be people interested in finding that place even though in the afterlife I have met countless brave witches and wizards that came before you,” the old man they saw in the pictures told them with a warm expression.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Fernando,” Harry said with a calm expression to the old spirit.
“Wow, you’re really perfectly speaking my language, is that a new spell?” Asked the old man amazed that he could perfectly understand Harry with a perfect Spanish Mexican accent just like Harry could understand the old spirit who had a perfect British accent.
“Yes sir, it’s a recently developed spell created by me,” Hermione intervened before she took a sip of tequila.
“What a useful spell, that would’ve served me in my days when explorers wanted me to join their journey to the lost city!” The old man was completely ecstatic, he loved to learn new things after all.
“Oh no you don’t! You would’ve died before we even got married if you joined those expeditions and we got married when I was fifteen and you thirteen!” Lola intervened. “However, these young people still want to adventure there and there’s no better person…Or spirit who knows more about that place than you,” Lola sighed.
The old spirit couldn’t help but smirk before he told them to follow him, they got inside a room that Lola said was forbidden to anyone, turns out that it was Fernando’s office and Hermione was awed by the many books there, she wanted to indulge in the knowledge those books could provide, after all, thanks to the translation spell she could easily read them but she decided to respect the family's wishes as there was a reason why this place was forbidden even for them.
They were surprised the moment they reached a certain old piece of furniture, Fernando said a random number and soon, a drawer was opened and there were some notebooks, and those were of muggle origin as they had plastic covers.
“This my friends, this is the work of my life…All the knowledge, flora, fauna, survival skills needed, and other information about that place are in these notebooks…You can make a copy if you want young lady I know a skilled witch like you can,” Fernando told Hermione who was amazed by the revelation.
She didn’t have to be told twice to make a copy of each notebook, there were five in total, and Hermione didn’t waste time because as soon as she got her copies, she started to look at them, she was clearly amazed by the amazing information she was getting.
“Let’s go back, there are many cursed objects in this place, I told my wife to destroy it with evil fire but considering this place is so clean I guess she can’t find in herself the strength to do it,” the old spirit sighed and soon Harry and Hermione followed him.
They were surprised to find a very happy Charlie dancing with Lola’s friends and sisters, Victoire on the other hand was trying her best to not blush too deeply as the young man was trying his best to use his charming abilities to court her, Harry and the young veela stared into each other's eyes for a few moments before he gave her a sympathetic look and walked towards her.
“Andres come here!” The young man with Victoire was startled by his grandpa Fernado's tone, however, in the end, he smiled and joined him but not before giving a slight peck to Victoire's hand.
Soon, Fernando, Fernando's sons, Fernando's grandsons, and Andres amongst many of the other souls of their relatives started to loudly sing along and Harry couldn’t help but smile at the scene before he approached Victoire.

“Hey,” Harry said with a calm expression to the younger blonde.
“Hey,” she said a bit embarrassed.
“Would you like to dance with me?” Harry asked sincerely.
He knew she must be nervous and overwhelmed by the possibility of seeing her father, if that happened then there was no hope, so, to try to put her at ease, Harry decided to be a bit selfish and give her something better to think about like dancing with him and to say that she was happy with the proposal would be an understatement, she grabbed and led Harry to the dance floor and soon, they lost themselves in the calmness of the notes of the melancholic song, they couldn’t help but get lost into each other’s eyes as they did this.
