Bellatrix watched in horror as the Hufflepuff's Cup, the one her master gave her to guard in her Gringotts vault because of the dark magic that it contained was thrown against the wall of the house of the Carrows, now it was nothing but a simple item because Harry Potter seemed to have killed her master's piece of soul that was contained in the object, as for Potter, he had a cold expression while he was holding a basilisk fang with one hand.
“Well, it’s done, now the next target is Nagini…I have no use for you any longer,” Harry Potter said with a cold tone as he stared at Bellatrix who was now fearing for her life.
She underestimated Potter, being a Gryffindor and all that, she thought that he wouldn’t do what was necessary to defeat the enemy, but Bellatrix seems to be unaware or maybe she forgot that Harry was raised in the muggle world where morals are different than the ones from the wizarding world, and as someone who had to survive ever since he was young, he knew that sometimes you have to do things you don’t like to survive, like cleaning your cousin’s room.
However, that’s not compared to what he had just done, the trip to Gringotts was a success, thankfully he was able to get his invisibility cloak with the help of Dobby, and with that, he controlled Bellatrix with the unforgivable curse and then lead her through Gringotts to get the cup, no one suspected anything weird, after all, she’s the second in command of the dark lord and luckily today was Thursday, Harry suspected Bellatrix was going to visit Gringotts after they took care of the business with the Carrows and that’s why the dark lord assigned her to watch over him.
“Dobby,” Harry called and suddenly a small house elf appeared.
Bellatrix gritted her teeth as she looked at the creature, she recognized him from years ago before she got into Azkaban, she remembers how she and the rest of the Malfoy family used to treat like crap the elf that was now serving Harry Potter.
“Stop elf…You belong to the Malfoy family, you’re betraying your masters!” The witch was desperate.
“Dobby has no masters…What can Dobby do for his friend Harry Potter?” Asked the creature with complete devotion.
Harry smiled at his smaller friend and got on his knees to be on his level.
“Dobby I want you to bring Hermione, Ron, and Neville from the refuge camp, I need them here…I want to hear their opinions about what to do with Bellatrix Lestrange,” Harry said with a soft smile on his face.
The elf nodded and with a plop disappeared from there.
“You’re going to pay for this Potter…Don’t think that you can fool the dark lord, he’s going to realize we’re taking too long and he’s going to come and save me and you and all your mudblood friends are going to pay!” She said before she started to laugh like a maniac.
“Don’t worry I made my calculations, just like in the ministry battle, it took the dark lord around thirty minutes to arrive, and we’ve been here for only fifteen, we have time don’t worry and even if he comes, the outcome will be the same, only I will be the one greeting him,” Harry said with a soft smile on his face which the caused the woman to scream like crazy.
Harry only yawned, he was tired of the maniac act from the older witch, he was about to say something else but then, his friends were brought by Dobby.
“Harry!” The three of them said at the same time and soon, Harry hugged Hermione before he shared a handshake with Ron and Neville.
“Dobby told us Harry, where is she?!” Neville asked desperately.
“Right behind you my friend…Look at her, doesn’t she look pathetic?” Asked Harry with a smirk.
“She’s on the floor like dirt, a very fitting place for her to be honestly,” Ron said with a smug expression.
“To think that she was supposed to be one of the strongest death eaters,” Hermione taunted the older woman.
“Get rid of the charms and I’ll show you all of you, I can take the four of you down at the same time!” She threatened them.
“Maybe…That’s why we’re not risking it, the charms and enchantments of the house stay, and now it’s time to decide your fate,” Harry told her and there was no amusement in his tone.
“I think Hermione should kill her using muggle methods…It will be so ironic and beautiful at the same time,” Ron said before he hugged Hermione from behind and kissed her neck.
Hermione tried to push him away and yet, she couldn’t help but blush and smile, her boyfriend was crazy, and Harry and Neville just rolled their eyes.
“If killing her is the only option, in my opinion, Neville should be the one to do it, yes, she killed Sirius, someone very dear to me but I know it’s not comparable with what she did to his parents…I just need her head to show it to the dark lord…What do you think Nev?” Asked Harry to the taller man.
Bellatrix couldn’t believe how cold they were acting, the dark lord told her that their enemies were supposed to be some kind of wannabe angels of redemption who saw light in anyone who wanted to redeem themselves, and now she realized it was foolish to think like that, after all, this was a war, they were young and scared, of course they weren't going to run away at the chance of weakening the death eater forces.
“You...All of you,” Bellatrix said with a dark expression and suddenly she started to laugh once again.
Her laugh wasn’t scary even if she tried to make it sound like that, for Harry and his friends her laugh was more like annoying rather than scary, and this caused the younger people in the room to share exasperated expressions.
“No matter how much you try, no matter how many of us you kill…The dark lord will win in the end, you and your group of scared and cowardly friends have no opportunity against him, Potter…And you know it,” Bellatrix finished with a smirk.
“I’m getting tired of her...Neville...Harry, please play rock paper scissors or something else to decide who is going to kill her,” Ron said with an annoyed tone.
“Harry…I’m not as strong as you…I think we should take turns to do it, you start first and then I’ll come into the scene, what do you think?” Asked Neville with a raised brow.
“That sounds fun...Get up!” he told Bellatrix with a cold tone that made her shudder. “Imperio!” He said angrily and soon the woman was made to stand up with his spell.
The woman was confused, she was expected to get killed instantly but it seemed like he was taking his time.
“We’re going to play a game Bella, I deactivated the traps in the house, so, let’s play hide and seek, every time I find you I’m going to hex you and the spells will be weak at first but as the game progresses I'll use stronger ones, so, be careful where you hide…The game starts now!” Harry ordered and she knew that she looked pathetic.
Still, she started to run around the house, Harry and his friends couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight, and after a minute, he began to search for her.
“Oh Belly…Bellykins,” he mocked her just like she did at the ministry with him.
Bellatrix knew this was her opportunity, it seemed like Potter was being careless right now, she hated not being able to use magic but at least she had a knife, she was going to use it on Potter, steal his wand that apparently works in this place and then she was going to make his friends pay.
