“Well this is a disaster indeed,” Alastor Moody said as he stared at the scene in front of him.

“Not yet sir, we’re still searching for it,” one of them said and Moody nodded.
“Good…Thank you so much for your work, if you need help don't hesitate to ask the Aurors while they're searching for clues about the whereabouts of the culprits, meanwhile…I’m going to adventure inside the destroyed chateau,” the older wizard said and he felt a little nervous to do that.
“Are you sure sir?” Asked the man who Moody encountered a few moments ago.
“You can feel it, right? There’s a deadly aura there, something horrible happened,” Moody told him, and the man couldn’t help but gulp.
He wasn’t used to horrible human crimes, he was more used to potion disasters caused by reckless witches and wizards who wanted to become the inventors of the next amazing potion, most of them just end up hurt or intoxicated and their job is to prevent that damage to extend to the rest of the population. Still, it was weird to get spiritually involved in his job, so, this sensation was all new to him.
“Yes…This feels strange…This feels creepy, like something out of this world, I don’t know why but even after all the things we applied to extinguish the fiendfyre, it’s hard to believe this place could get this cold considering we’re in summer,” the man said as he hugged his body.

The young wizard disappeared as soon as he could, he couldn't bear to be in this specific part anymore, he felt the need to get the hell out of there for some reason and he was impressed that the older Auror would be so willing to get inside.
Alastor kicked the door and entered, at first the place looked like a normal burned place, but he knew he wasn’t going to find something there so he continued going upstairs and he found nothing there.
“What’s going on here?” Asked the older man with a confused tone.
However, he was so focused on being on guard as this place could be cursed that he didn’t pay too much attention to his surroundings which caused him to stumble and break the floor from the second level but when he fell, he destroyed the floor on the first level too.
“Ah…That was unexpected,” the older man said as he got back on his feet.
He started to look around to analyze his surroundings and then he realized something, this place seemed to be a secret place because he couldn’t see any doors or entrances where someone could get here on their own.
“Wait a minute…What’s that?” Asked the older Auror as he continued walking in the secret basement.
He walked in a certain direction, and there was something kind of shiny catching his attention, and then his eyes widened, he had seen that thing before, muggles have those things called bunkers where they protect themselves and they can close it from the outside, what he’s seeing looks like the door of a bunker, but the surprising thing is that it was opened.
“Lumos maxima,” Alastor said and soon, a light appeared as he jumped into the secret bunker in the secret basement.
His eyes widened at the sight, there were some burned corpses, however, the thing that shocked him the most was that even though the fiendfyre reached to this part as everything biologically was destroyed, there were some weird things here, there was dust and some cloaks.
“Could that be something related to…Dementors?” He couldn’t help but wonder.
And then his eyes widened as he remembered what happened to the members of the order of the phoenix.
“No way…Don’t tell me that…This is the place where those bastards experimented to create that horrible spell,” Alastor couldn’t help but wonder.
The older man now knew why the place had such a creepy and deadly Aura, even though there didn’t seem to be any dementors nearby as most likely they had been sacrificed and the death eaters had made many experiments with them, that doesn’t matter, it’s hard to erase their essence, Alastor was a little creeped out by this but soon, he called for a Patronus.
“Tell everyone that I need a forensics team here and a couple of guys from the biohazard department!” the older man ordered to his Patronus.
They had a lot of work to do, not only did they have to investigate who was in charge of experimenting with dementors, but they also had to identify the victims too, Alastor couldn’t help but feel frustrated as he looked at the churned bodies of the victims, he couldn’t help but kick around a glass that was nearby.
