“Bellatrix Lestrange…” Harry Potter said in a tone full of authority.
The older woman was startled by the tone he was using and it was truly bringing memories of the time she spent with her master as his servant, she had always lusted after him even though she was married, however, her Lord always seemed uninterested in those kinds of things. The woman was now wondering if Potter's attitude could be because the Horcrux was having more influence on the younger man than she thought, if that was the case, she needed to hurry up to revive her master.
“Y-Yes master…I mean, yes?” She asked in a worried tone.
She couldn’t believe she was acting like a mess in front of the man who was younger than her, it didn’t matter if her master’s piece of soul was living inside him, that was not an excuse for her to fall over heels for him just because he sounded like her master for a brief moment.
“I need to see the things where the souls are contained,” Harry was ordering, he wasn’t asking, he wasn't even looking at her, his look was fixated on a certain part of the wall in front of him.
Bellatrix tried to be strong and she tried to deny what she was feeling, however, she couldn’t help but gulp after seeing the cold look he suddenly sent to her, it seemed like he wasn’t taking a no from her in this situation.
“Calm down Bella…It’ll be fine, as long as we get to extract the soul out of his body, we don't have to worry after that,” the older woman said to herself in a low tone.
Harry still had the same expression and he was looking at the wall once again, Bella felt he was looking down on her, she didn’t know how he managed to hide this side of him, but still, she decided to not think too much about it, it was time to get to work if she wanted to bring her master back to life as soon as possible.
“That’s fair,” Bellatrix said with a slight smirk before she snapped her fingers.
Suddenly a small crystal ball appeared, it was a little strange, there was some kind of white smoke inside, but the smoke was moving chaotically, as if it were desperate to get out of the crystal ball.
“That’s…There’s no way!” Harry said not believing that something so small could contain a soul.
“Twenty-one grams...In the past, wizards used to weigh people before and after they died and they realized that there was a difference of approximately twenty-one grams, that’s how fragile a soul is, it's so interesting how something so light-weighted has so many possibilities,” Bellatrix laughed as she played with the ball throwing it in the air.
Harry couldn’t help but gulp, if the crystal ball fell on the ground and it broke, the soul could escape and it would be game over for whoever owned that soul originally.
“How can I know you’re telling the truth?” Asked Harry with complete distrust of the older woman’s claims.
“There’s nothing I can do to prove that, you just need to trust me, but if you don’t feel like doing that, I can throw it in the ground and destroy it, I don't care about the outcome, it would make me very happy because this belongs to the spawn of my traitor sister…This is the soul of her freak daughter Nymphadora,“ Bellatrix said with a wicked smirk on her face.
Harry couldn’t believe it, of all the people he could think she could use to prove a point, it was such a cruel joke of destiny that Bellatrix decided to use Tonks’ soul to play with him, and he was a little worried that she could have more information about him than he previously thought, he couldn't help but look at the wall once again, he didn't want to see Bellatrix smug expression.
“Poor Potter, you don’t know how much she bragged that you were going to destroy and defeat us during her last moments…” She laughed. “You two would have such a cute couple of freaks,” the woman seemed to forget about the fact that her master’s soul was inside Harry Potter, she seemed to have forgotten to respect him any longer.
Harry was so angry, his blood was boiling and he was trying to calm himself because he was convinced he was going to attack the woman with his magical thoughts, maybe if he wished to destroy her, he could manage to get the crystal with Nymphadora's soul.
However, he decided to calm down and think of a better plan, the last thing he wanted was to make this insane woman go mad, after all, it seemed like it didn’t matter that she was related to Nymphadora, she didn’t care that her niece could be gone forever, she even seemed to be eager for that.
“Fine…I’m going to show you that I’m not lying,” the older woman rolled her eyes. “Dobby!” She called and suddenly, a poorly looking house elf appeared.
“Yes master Bellatrix?” Asked the scared creature.
“I want you to take this ball and make Nymphadora Tonks drink its contents…Now!” Bellatrix ordered as she handled the crystal ball to the small creature who nodded completely terrified before disappearing.
But she didn’t stop there, she made a giant crystal ball appear now so she and Harr could watch Dobby’s point of view as he appeared inside St. Mungo's, but most importantly, he appeared inside a room where a purple-haired woman was resting on a bed, she was staring at the ceiling with lifeless expression.
Harry was worried about this situation, if this went wrong, he was going to lose Tonks forever, and that’s the last thing he wanted, he hated Bellatrix so much, he knew it wasn't the creature's fault, but Harry didn’t trust him enough to do that, he was holding a life on his hands, this was no joke.
But then, the creature did as he was told and soon, he put the crystal ball in Tonks' mouth and little by little, the contents inside the crystal ball started to disappear and Harry thought that it was over, but suddenly, Nymphadora’s body started to regain color and her body started to move little by little, and the last thing they saw before they lost the signal as Dobby decided to disappear: was Nymphadora getting on her feet.
It was real, the death eater wasn’t bluffing, that was truly the soul of Nymphadora Tonks, one of his closest friends, she was back, and he wanted to be happy but he still remembered he was in this difficult situation, there was still lots remaining souls he needed to get back.
“Happy? Do you believe me now or not?” Bellatrix asked with a raised brow after Dobby got back.
Harry stared at the wall once again as he gritted his teeth and he had no other choice but to agree with her.
“Yes, I believe you…However, if you want your master’s soul, I want you to give me all the crystal balls where you trapped the souls of my loved ones,” Harry said with a serious tone.
“Ah so boring!” Bellatrix complained, not so impressed anymore with his tough act. “Fine, shall we make a deal?” Asked the older woman and suddenly, she made many more of the crystal balls appear.
Harry’s eyes widened, he counted all and then he realized something, that was the number of people that were in a vegetative state, his parents, Henry, Sirius, Dumbledore, Remus, Andromeda, Ted, those were their souls and Harry was on the verge of crying after seeing his loved ones reduced to nothing but some kind of smoke trapped in small crystal balls.
“You want all these things, right?” She asked in a mocking tone. “However, if I give them to you, I’m sure you’re going to escape with them, right? Come on, there’s no point pretending, even if you are unable to use magic properly, I know you can still teleport, that’s why you chose this place, right? Everything is prepared so you can run away and teleport, two simple movements that require at least five seconds,” She explained in a cold tone.
Harry couldn’t help but gulp, she was right, everything was planned to find a way to get his friends and family back and then, run as fast as possible to disappear and regroup back at Potter’s manor, that was the plan, but it seems like he underestimated the woman’s intelligence, he knew five seconds were enough to her to catch him, that's why he planned this meticulously.
“We seem to be in a little disagreement at this point, right?” Asked Harry with a calm tone as he looked over at Bellatrix to stare at the wall once again.
“What’s the deal with you looking in that direction since I’ve arrived?” The woman asked as she looked at the same place Harry was looking at and she was a little confused, it was a clock hour, and according to the clock, it was exactly 12:00 PM right now.
Suddenly Bellatrix’s eyes widened.
“Wait a minute…I feel like you're calling my name in front of a mirror once again but this time from another location…How can that be possible if you’re here!?” The older witch asked with an angry tone.
“You’re right Bella…There’s a thing called Polyjuice potion, so, you might be looking at a copy of Harry Potter…Or maybe not?” He asked with a smirk on his face.
The older woman was so angry, but she couldn’t do anything, she needed to find out which one was the real Potter because if she accidentally killed the real one, she was going to have lots of trouble.
