Nervousness was killing Victoire Anne Weasley, she was sitting in front of the two most important people in the country, the ones she admired the most. Harry Potter, the hero of the last war, and Hermione Granger, the current minister of magic who also happens to be his wife were sitting in front of her with serious expressions on their faces.
It's normal for people to feel nervous and a little intimidated in the presence of these two important figures, however, for someone who has known them for some time, there must be a logical reason for her to feel so nervous, and even though she has declared that she has a crush on both of them, the actual reason for her behavior has nothing to do with that crush.
She was expecting them to come here to demand answers about her attitude, and it seemed like they were here in official business, Victoire’s mind was running through a lot of scenarios about the actual reason why they were here, maybe they discovered that she stole a pen from the ministry, she took it and brought it home and she forgot to give it back, or maybe snitches on her about her hidden candies in her office that she usually eats when during work hours, something that is forbidden.
Victoire was feeling more and more nervous as each second passed, she knew she had broken lots of rules at the ministry but she couldn’t help herself, a lot of them were ridiculous.
“So…It's such an honor to have the hero and the minister of magic in my home...What can I do for you?” Questioned nervously the younger witch but she was trying to praise them as much as she could to try to lessen the punishment that awaited her.
Harry and Hermione remained in silence for a few moments, but suddenly they shared a look and nodded at each other, and suddenly Harry clarified his voice.
“We’ve discovered something about you Victoire and we want answers,” Harry said with a serious tone.
The younger witch gulped, she was done for sure, she was already imagining herself in Azkaban wearing cheap clothes for the rest of her life, in her mind wearing those clothes was the worst punishment, even worse than the dementors.
“Yes, it’s about the recent development of the magical tablet, the one that’ll help our students to connect and search for information more efficiently,” Hermione spoke with a serious tone too. “You participated in that project, right?” Asked the minister and Victoire started to fear for her life right now but she nodded anyway, she was proud of her participation in that project.
“Yes…I did some work on it but not so much really, I only designed the touch screen really,” the blonde tried to make it sound like she wasn’t too involved, maybe thanks to this confession, she will only get a few years in Azkaban instead of spending her whole life there.
“Well, if that’s the case then…” Harry suddenly started.
“Why weren’t you at the party where we congratulated your team?” Asked the older woman with a sad expression.
Victoire remained in the same position for a while, she didn’t say anything and she didn’t even flinch, she just stared at the couple with a confused expression, she was expecting to be accused of an awful crime but turns out that they were here because she didn’t attend the celebration party of their recent project.
Victoire felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders, and she was feeling like she was going to collapse at any second, luckily that never happened, she just closed her eyes due to the embarrassment and when she opened them again, she looked at the couple as calmly as she could even though her body was starting to act weird once again.
“Well…I was feeling tired and sick and I didn’t want to ruin the party for everyone, you know?” The blonde witch explained and the couple didn’t say anything.
“Are you sure Tori?” Harry suddenly asked while using that name and this caused the younger woman to blush, but also, thanks to that name, she was starting to feel like she was losing control of her emotions, still, she managed to control herself.
“Was that really the reason why you weren’t there or is it because…We were going to be there!?” Asked Hermione with an offended expression.
“N-No, why would I—” Victoire tried to lie to them but the minister suddenly raised her hand to stop her from continuing to justify herself.
“Please Tori, we know we’re old but we aren’t senile yet, well, at least not me,” the older woman joked as she pointed at her husband who just rolled his eyes.
“Tori, we’ve been suspecting that you've been trying to avoid us ever since your last birthday party, but we know you’ve been trying to avoid us, and we want to know why,” Harry didn’t waste time and he went straight to the point, no bullshit in his words.
And this was just one of the many reasons why the younger woman fell for him, his bravery, and his lack of fear, those are just one of the many things that made her fall for him, the older man just acts and does the right thing without worrying if that would cause harm to him, he only wants to get things done and that’s a philosophy she has adopted in her job too.
“And not only that time you were trying to avoid us, there were at least two other occasions, the first one was during the last Weasley gathering we attended and the third one, was on your first day working at the ministry,” Hermione explained and the younger woman couldn’t believe it, she has been discovered, she thought she was being discreet back then but it seems like she overestimated her capabilities to hide her secrets.
“And now you’re avoiding us at the celebration party, we asked your superior about your whereabouts and he said you were fine until he mentioned we were going to be there,” Harry said with a sad expression, and that broke the heart of the younger woman.
Seeing the disappointed and sad expressions of the two people she admired and loved the most (romantically speaking) broke the younger witch’s heart, she didn’t want to do this, but she feared that if her emotions got out of control she could become violent and kill them.
She didn’t want things to happen in the way things happen in the many tales of the ancient veelas who couldn’t get their feelings reciprocated and instead, they killed the people who loved them, if they couldn’t have them, no one was going to, she was fearing she could do something like that if she reached that state.
Victoire was having a hard time thinking about what to say to the couple, she was fighting her emotions and she was fighting against what was right, the last thing she wanted was to become a murderer or even worse, to force them to kill her, still, surprisingly, she managed to have the strength to speak to explain her situation.
“Look, I know it looks like I’m holding a grudge against you and maybe it looks like I’m trying to avoid you, the last thing is right but…” She confessed and the couple raised their brows. “Look, the explanation is kind of messy, so, I’m just going to leave it like this…My body is going through so many weird changes related to my veela heritage, I can’t explain in too deep what’s happening but I can at least assure you that I don’t hate you,” she confessed with a weak smile on her face.
Harry and Hermione’s eyes widened and soon, their worried expressions turned into smiles, and for some reason that made Victoire feel happy even if her emotions were starting to get out of control, she couldn’t stop her emotions because she was too close to them.
“You two are the most incredible people that I know aside from my parents, you two have no idea how much I admire you, I would never hate you, I would die first before doing something like that,” the blonde confessed with a flustered expression.
Harry and Hermione were smiling at each other, and suddenly Hermione whispered something in the older man’s ear, and he nodded completely understanding what he was hearing.
“Tori, I’m sorry for this misunderstanding, we’ll never know what you’re going through, so, we’re happy you don’t hate us and if you need something, don’t hesitate to ask us,” Harry said with a charming smile that was making the younger witch go crazy.
“Even me, as a woman, I will never understand what a veela goes through but at last I can say that there are moments where I don’t want to be close to this man too!” Hermione joked around and Harry just sighed.
“Likewise, right now we’re sharing the same feeling,” Harry joked around too, Hermione just rolled her eyes.
The couple got ready to leave and Victoire was sad because of that but happy at the same time as her emotions were starting to kill her, she wasn’t going to resist for too long.
“Tori, we’re leaving, we'll tell your parents we talked with you—” Hermione couldn’t finish because suddenly the younger woman collapsed on the floor, Harry ran as fast as he could to pick her up with his strong arms.
“Tori, Tori, Are you okay?” He asked with a concerned expression meanwhile Hermione was touching the veela’s forehead.
But suddenly an event that Victoire will remember for the rest of her life happened, she suddenly orgasmed before she fainted, and the last thing she saw was Harry and Hermione’s shocked expressions, she wished to collapse and never wake up due to the embarrassment.
