Also I try not to make every single thing "aesthetic" so I can free myself from the struggle of not doing everything perfectly but HOW are other artist's random ugly study sketches always pretty O. O

That's exactly it ! For a long time I didn't want to share anything that wasn't "perfect" (what's perfection well...) and it does contribute to this idea that nobody ever makes mistakes, and just get to learn like magic !

Other artists random ugly study sketches only seem pretty because they're done by someone else; you have a different eye for them. Also most of other artists random ugly study sketches are just as ugly but they only post the few ones that are good looking.
