So glad to see someone appreciating this episode and especially the scene where we go into everyone's mind! Im being so terrified of Stair-kun is so funny lol. Don't worry you're not the only one hahah

SwordAndSavior

That staircase is pretty effective. It just has its own aura or nen. Like you could post that on a wall and it'll look like a work of art. People will be like "what is that?" lol

Togashi is so good at set up. Just the whole Palm and Gon thing in the beginning of this arc and then now, Gon asks again, what about Palm. You have to be curious what he's really thinking.

You’re spot on here. More than any previous arc, this one is an insane juggling act of so many characters who each need to have meaningful arcs and stakes and this episode is a masterclass of juggling everyone perfectly. Togashi and the anime production team fired on all cylinders. Now we’re ready for the detonation of all this tension. So damn excited for what’s coming.

was having a browse on IMDB and suprisingly this was given a 7.7 . completely agree with you saying how great of a buildup episode this is

This has always been quite an underrated episode. A favourite of mine, for sure. Especially that last scene of going through the thoughts of every character.
