Tons of great reaction for the rest of September and then a Togashi comeback early October... What a time to be alive! One of the best episode thus far! Pouf is soooo dramatic and I love it hahah. That last scene is just one that I never forget. Great analysis!

I used to think the same, but now I also enjoy having the frames selected. I have a feeling it also allows Im to more carefully consider his points as he might be using a script he wrote before hand. It might be cool to have a mixture of seeing his face + selected frames though!

Are you planning to return to showing your face as you do the discussion portion? It feels more impactful and more engaging to watch your emotive reactions and mannerisms as you discuss so passionately. It, you could say, is the essence of what draws people into watching those such as yourself reacting to our favorite shows. I think watching you discuss is valuable, just as your insights are. The 2011 anime ended a decade ago on the day you posted this. Fun fact aside, this is one of my favorite episodes of the arc. There's something about it that feels vaguely like Death Note (Meruem trying to deduce what a name is and what his should be) and the humor is understated but great. Honestly, the humor in Hunter x Hunter is consistently funny. It's incredible that an arc as dark as the Chimera Ant arc can be filled with humorous moments and gags that don't feel out of place or tonally inconsistent.

Definitely one of my all-time favourite episodes. The image of her cowering beneath the eagle and the instant kill with the tail finally being used to protect instead of inflict pain is an incredible turnaround for Meruem.
