🕑 Added 2023-09-22 22:00:02 +0000 UTCAfter obtaining his advanced degree, Theodore was excited to be hired by a place known only as “The Lab.” The rumor amongst his fellow graduates was that The Lab was funded by an unknown billionaire, who gave everyone there unlimited funding to pursue whatever they wished.
On his first day, the rumors were confirmed, and while he was writing a proposal for his own work, he could assist anyone in The Lab. An older gentleman began to introduced Theodore to the various other intellectuals who worked within; the odd sights were hard to ignore
After passing by a naked woman eating dog food, he had to ask, “Okay, what’s going on with her?”
“Poor, Dr. Greene,” The older man sighed, “Her work on neuroscience was so promising. She’s now got the brain of a dog inside that head of hers. We used to try to clothe her, but like most dogs, she would resist that. We’re not quite sure where he own brain went.”
“I want to help her.”
“What?”
“You said I could assist anyone in The Lab, right? Well, I want to assist her. Maybe I could get her back to normal -- at least until I figure out what else I want to do.”
“It’s unorthodox, but I suppose not against the rules. Good luck.”
