[Fanfic] Marinette - Frozen Hearts, Burning Desire - 1
🕑 Added 2025-01-03 00:00:01 +0000 UTCChapter 1: Snowbound Beginnings
The winter season brought with it a much-anticipated school trip to the mountains, a chance for Marinette, Adrien, and their friends to escape the hustle of Paris and embrace the charm of snowy slopes and cozy cabins. Organized by their class, the trip was designed to be both educational and fun, with group activities, skiing lessons, and plenty of free time to enjoy the picturesque scenery.
The bus ride was buzzing with excitement as everyone chatted about their plans for the week. Alya, Marinette’s best friend and ever the romantic, leaned close to her as they sat together near the back of the bus.
“So, Mari,” she teased with a knowing grin, “you realize this trip could be the perfect chance for you to spend some time with Adrien, right? Maybe even... you know, make a move?”
Marinette’s cheeks flushed as she fumbled with the zipper on her coat.
“W-What? N-No, Alya, it’s not like that!” she stammered, though her pink-tinged face betrayed her feelings.
Alya chuckled and nudged her playfully.
“Come on, girl. This is so your moment. A beautiful snowy setting, cozy cabins, Adrien looking like a literal snow prince... It’s practically a rom-com waiting to happen!”
Marinette let out a nervous laugh, trying to ignore the butterflies Alya’s words had unleashed in her stomach. She stole a glance toward Adrien, who was seated a few rows ahead, laughing at something Nino had said. His smile, warm and genuine, sent her heart into overdrive.
When the bus finally arrived at the mountain resort, the students spilled out into the frosty air, their breaths visible as excited chatter filled the space. The resort was a dream: wooden cabins nestled under snow-dusted pine trees, the distant slopes glowing under the late afternoon sun, and the inviting aroma of hot cocoa wafting from the lodge.
Everyone gathered around as their teacher distributed cabin assignments. Alya and Nino were paired together, much to their delight, while the rest of the students eagerly grabbed their keys and rushed off to claim their rooms.
“Dupain-Cheng and Agreste,” the teacher called out, handing them a single key.
“Wait... what?” Marinette froze in place, her eyes wide with shock. Her heart, already racing from the cold, seemed to skip a beat. “We’re... sharing? I thought I’ll be with Alya!”
Adrien glanced at her, just as startled but recovering quickly.
“That’s probably a mistake, I was supposed to be with Nino,” he offered with an apologetic smile. “Let me check with the teacher.”
He approached the Mrs. Bustier while Marinette stood rooted to the spot, her mind spinning. Alya smirked from a distance, mouthing, “Told you!” Marinette could only glare back, though her flushed cheeks made it far from convincing.
Adrien returned moments later, running a hand through his hair, his expression a mix of embarrassment and resignation.
“Looks like all the other cabins are full. The teacher said they needed to make some late adjustments…”
Marinette’s face turned crimson. Sharing a cabin—with Adrien Agreste, of all people—felt like an impossible situation. Yet, with no alternative, she managed a small nod.
“I-I guess... we’ll make it work?” she said hesitantly.
Adrien smiled reassuringly, his calm demeanor doing little to ease the storm of nerves inside her.
“Don’t worry, Marinette. It’s no big deal.”
But as they headed toward their shared cabin, Marinette couldn’t shake the feeling that this trip was about to become much more than she had bargained for.
As the door to the tiny cabin creaked shut behind them, Marinette felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension. The place was cozy, sure, but also cramped, with barely enough room for the two of them. A large bed sat in the back of the room, flanked by a small table meant for meals, and a so tiny bathroom tucked away in the corner, that one person is barely enough to fit. The rustic charm of the space was undeniable, but the fact that it was so small made the situation feel a lot more intimate—and a lot more awkward.
Adrien glanced around, trying to make the best of it.
“Well, it’s... cozy, right?” He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “Definitely not what I imagined, but we’ll make it work.”
Marinette swallowed hard, her face growing warmer by the second. Sharing a bed—however indirectly—wasn’t exactly how she’d pictured spending time with Adrien. But there was no escaping it. The manager had apologized, explaining that the mix-up meant they were stuck with the one and only cabin available. She could already hear Alya’s teasing voice echoing in her head. Perfect opportunity to bond with Adrien, right?
She tried to ignore the fluttering in her chest as she moved toward her bag. Adrien seemed unfazed, as usual, but Marinette couldn’t stop the wave of nerves that rushed over her. They had to share this space—and now, they had to get ready for their first activity, and to get changed.
A moment of silence passed before Adrien casually mentioned,
“So, um... I guess we’ll change here?” His voice was polite, almost too polite, but there was an underlying hesitation that mirrored her own.
Marinette’s eyes darted around the small cabin, searching for some semblance of privacy. But there was nowhere. No other room. Just the bed, the table, and a bathroom far too small for any of them to fit and change. Her heart rate sped up. This is insane, she thought. There’s no way we can change in front of each other.
Adrien seemed to sense her discomfort.
“What if we... change back to back? I’ll face the wall, you face the window?” His suggestion was kind, considerate, and clearly made with the intention of giving them both some space—emotionally, at least.
Marinette hesitated, her cheeks burning, but eventually nodded.
“Yeah... that might work,” she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Adrien moved toward one side of the cabin, careful to keep a respectful distance. Marinette took a deep breath and turned toward the small window, though the feeling of his presence lingered, heavy in the air between them.
They stood there in silence for a moment, each of them trying to muster the courage to begin undressing. Marinette’s hands trembled as she reached for the buttons on her jacket, each click of the fabric against her skin making her even more aware of Adrien’s proximity. Her face was a shade of crimson she wasn’t sure she’d ever recover from, but there was no turning back now.
Adrien was doing his best to focus on his own clothing, but his eyes kept drifting back to her. He could hear the slight rustle of Marinette’s clothes, the soft sound of fabric being pulled off. Every tiny movement made his heart race a little faster. When he glanced over his shoulder for just a split second, he caught sight of her, the soft curve of her back as she undid the zipper of her jacket. His breath hitched, and he quickly turned his head away, trying to hide the heat creeping up his neck.
Marinette’s heart pounded in her chest. She was acutely aware of Adrien’s presence, even if she couldn’t see him. The thought of him standing just a few feet away, his body just as exposed as hers, made her skin tingle. She fought the urge to peek over her shoulder, but the temptation was almost unbearable.
She quickly peeled off her top, the fabric slipping over her shoulders, revealing her smooth back and the delicate clasp of her bra. Her body tightened in self-consciousness, but the cool air of the cabin brushing against her skin made her nipples harden beneath the thin fabric. She felt exposed, yet the warmth radiating from Adrien’s presence seemed to envelop her, making her heart race. She focused on the wall in front of her, the faint outline of the trees outside barely visible through the small window, anything to distract her from the awareness of Adrien standing just feet away. His presence was a constant pull in the air between them, electric and unspoken.
Adrien struggled to keep his focus, his heart pounding in his chest. The closeness between them made the simple act of changing feel intensely intimate. He had always admired Marinette from a distance, but seeing her so close, her graceful movements and delicate form, stirred something primal deep inside him. As she slipped out of her top, he couldn’t help but steal a glance. The soft curve of her back, the slight arch of her shoulders, and the delicate curve of her waist—it all caught his attention in ways he hadn’t expected. He quickly looked away, his cheeks flushing as he fumbled with his own jacket, trying to hide the growing bulge in his pants.
The air felt charged, as though the very space between them was alive with anticipation. Neither of them spoke, both intent on undressing, but their awareness of each other was undeniable. Adrien couldn’t help but notice the way the fabric of Marinette’s jeans clung to her hips, accentuating the curve of her ass as she unbuttoned them. Her movements were slow and careful, almost as if she was unaware of how mesmerizing it all looked. His breath hitched when a quick glance caught sight of the smooth skin of her lower back, the delicate curve of her waist before she pulled her pants down, revealing the lace of her panties.
Marinette’s own pulse raced as she noticed Adrien’s movements out of the corner of her eye. She could feel his gaze, even though he never fully looked. The way his muscles flexed as he removed his jacket, the broadness of his shoulders, and the defined lines of his chest—she felt her own body tighten in response. It was a simple act of changing, yet the tension between them felt like it had woven something deeper between them. A shared, unspoken understanding. The intimacy of it all was both thrilling and terrifying.
As they stood there, both in their underwear now, the small cabin became a space filled with heat. Their bodies—so different, yet so similar—seemed to call to each other, each subtle glance, each quiet shift, only deepening the connection between them. Marinette’s breath caught in her throat as she stole another glance at Adrien, noticing how his gaze seemed to linger just slightly too long as he pulled his shirt over his head. The outline of his torso, the soft strength of his frame, and the way his boxers clung to his crotch sent a flush through her that she couldn’t ignore.
Adrien, on the other hand, was doing everything he could to remain composed, but the sight of Marinette, her form so graceful and feminine, made it almost impossible to think clearly. Her soft curves, the way the light caught her skin, and the slight glimpse of her cleavage was something he didn’t know how to process. His hands shook slightly as he finished pulling on his sweater, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nervousness, his body aching with desire.

Finally, Marinette finished changing into her winter clothes, the movement of pulling on her pants feeling somehow more intimate than it should have been. Adrien, too, finished as quickly as he could, not wanting to linger in the discomfort any longer than necessary.
The silence that followed was heavy, charged with the shared secret of the moment. Neither of them dared to make eye contact at first. Adrien looked at the floor, his fingers nervously tugging at the hem of his jacket, while Marinette focused intently on tying her boots, as if the simple task could help her regain some semblance of composure.
“Well...” Adrien finally said, breaking the silence with a soft chuckle. “That was... something.”
Marinette smiled weakly, still trying to shake the warmth that refused to leave her face.
“Yeah... definitely.”
The moment passed, but the tension lingered, unspoken and electric. As they moved toward the door, ready to face the cold and the slopes, neither of them could shake the feeling that something had shifted between them. It was just the beginning, but neither of them knew how far this little moment would take them.
