The actress that portrays Andrea said in an interview that she was supposed to develop into a love interest for Rick, and become one of the main pillars for the survivors. But, when everything went down with the actors and AMC, this is the story they came up with. I wish they all could've worked out their differences, because I would've liked to see her as a leader.

I feel like Andrea knows the Gov is garbage but she said in season 1 that she did not want to live on the road, day to day always running, scared, and she was prepared to end it. So I get it. I hate the way she's written in the story because she's just lost personality. Even though she's such a badass, she is just all wishy washy. Ugh! Great reaction! :-)
