Update 10th Nov '24
🕑 Added 2024-11-10 14:45:19 +0000 UTCThis ended up being a bit of a quiet week. I guess I needed a break and took advantage of Monmusu Quest Paradox Chapter 3 finally coming out to take a few days off and recharge. I forgot how grindy that game is!
Keeping with MQP, I've had a few people ask if I'm going to continue the epic walkthrough I was doing on my blog. The short answer to that is I'm not sure. I can't find the old save file, so I've started a new playthrough. When I get back to the start of Chapter 3, I'll think about it. While this week was a little different as I treated it as a break, I'll be going back to a full work week next week. I generally only allow myself 2-3 hours of gaming leisure time a day. Any walkthrough blogging would have to be restricted to that slot in the day otherwise it will negatively impinge on my writing and development of HoHH. When I get to Chapter 3 I'll have a look at how it fits within that slot. Maybe it might be viable as an update every 2-3 days, in which case I'll get it going again. I think trying to do it daily will be a bad idea. Maybe it might be something I start come January 2025.
While it was mostly a break week, I did get some things done. I've sorted out the next commission with marwmellow. HoHH needs a proper title page. I've mocked up an idea using the art of The Madam and I've commissioned marwmellow to draw some stage curtains and burlesque-type stage as a background. I'd like to put the art demo up on places like itch.io, so having a nice title page is a priority there.
I'm still nibbling away on The Trapperess's scenario. Her core is written and I'm currently most of the way through her first trap (of six). Next week I'll be back on her full time.
The other thing I've been doing is tidying up and standardising some things with the HoHH 1.5 codebase. Once I've checked the harlot scenarios to make sure I haven't broken anything, I'll add the new portrait art for the NPC and hopefully have that out as a minor release sometime next week.
Thanks for the support and interest.

I'm currently grinding through a new playthrough of MGQ. Once I get back to end of Chapter 2 I might do another walkthrough for Chapter 3 depending on what translation tools I can get to work with it. Might be a slower pace so it doesn't interfere with other work - maybe 3 updates per week rather than daily. It has to fit within the 2 or so hours of leisure time I give myself per day.

Haven't posted for a whiles, mobile might be nice for keeping up but not as nice for mass typing, but if you did decide to do a playthrough for part 3 it would definitely be nice to read (might currently be re-reading what you had so far as I play catch up on part 2 of paradox). On a very random note I'm oddly torn on some of the newer art compared to the original VN for a few characters. It's nice they're not just re-using, and what little I've seen about part 3 suggests that continues, but some kind of feel out of place. After all Alma Elma may have used her tail as one option to feed, or to wrap around someone so they don't run, but looking at her scenes between recollection and now that I've recruited her again it feels like her new artist has one hell of a tail vore fetish as she seems to gobble up with her tail even in the more standard scenes. Aside from that may be throwing random comments in a lot of the posts that I meant to prior, hopefully doesn't cause too much confusion/chaos with stuff that has already been edited/fixed

Chapter 3 is out. I'm guessing it will be a while before it's fully translated, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are already crude MTL versions. I'm still grinding away back at the start. :)

Wait, does that mean Monster Girl Quest Paradox is FINALLY fully translated? HOLY SHIT I'VE BEEN WAITING SO MANY YEARS
