#SexDungeon23: Room 032
🕑 Added 2023-02-02 02:13:07 +0000 UTCHUB AREA
You exit the back of the CRIPPLED SUCCUBUS's whorehouse. The SUCCUBUS COMPANION Is waiting on the other side and pleased you have proven yourself. She directs you to a safe area – a tranquil little park with a white statue of a goddess. The atmosphere here seems clean and wholesome, in direct contrast to the smothering cloud of lust and licentiousness covering the rest of Ur-Carnosa.
An old woman sits in the park and reveals herself to be an NPC merchant selling various useful items to the player.
I'm a big fan of Souls-likes and the usual layout is a first area + boss followed by a hub area that gives options on where to go next. Currently I'm not sure whether this would follow that plan, but it seems a decent placeholder for now while I try to figure out what the next zone should be. The good level design would be to have the various zones open up more zones and loop back the hub and all that sort of stuff. The more straightforward level design is to make it linear and have the player run through them one after the other.
Whatever option I go with, the player will find some sort of merchant as the first NPC encountered after the boss fight.
As for the upcoming zones, I have a few ideas:
- A narrow twisted warren of backstreets filled with treacherous rat and cat girls, and overseen by a 'gangland boss' monster girl. Emphasis on stealing player's cash as well as semen/energy.
- A 'scurvy dog' wharf/waterfront area that's been overrun by sea-based monster girls. So, piratical mermaids and scyllas.
- An unnatural greenhouse or park filled with plant girls.
- A tower filled with magic witch succubi and a mage theme.
- A sewer/underground region filled with slime girls.
- Slums infested with arachnes or other insect girls. 'The Hive'.
- A false cathedral inhabited by 'angels' who are anything but.
- A prison-type area run by S&M themed succubi.
- A full chaos region with flesh walls and very weird monster girls.
- A final castle with the elite lust daemons.
I'm not sure which one we'll see tomorrow. I'm pretty much flying by the seat of my pants, which is the point of the exercise. Don't get bogged down, just create rooms!
