Update 19th Sep '21
🕑 Added 2021-09-19 22:28:42 +0000 UTCI'm continuing to make good progress on the new public demo for House of Hellish Harlots. There are a few plates spinning, so I'll go over each in turn.
New Harlot: Pel-V
About 3K words and nearly typed up. I'll be looking to implement her next week.
New Harlot: Boobfairy
1st draft written aside from one scene.
Repeat Harlot: Osculia Suffocati
I went back to work on her repeat visit. I'm tweaking the selection algorithm (more on this later) and need her as an example scenario.
Transition from Harlot Selection to Club Activities phase
I've revamped this. It now has round checks where I can add hints/warnings from the Barman. I also needed to do it to implement:
Skip Option for The Madam's explanation of Mulligan Tokens
This was a little trickier than I first thought because of where to fit it. It's now implemented.
Option to buy charm of choice from the Buxom Lolibaba for a mulligan token
The code for this has been done. I just need to fill out some passages with the appropriate text to go along with it.
Selection Algorithm
There are a few things I need to tweak:
1) I need to tag plot-important repeat visits so they show up more frequently.
2) Add more options for overrides. Currently the player can have The Madam force an override to get a harlot of choice to appear. I'm working on having more options here so that other entities can do it. eg a harlot like Osculia appearing again the round after she's first selected.
3) Slightly different algorithm for checkpoint/mini-boss rounds.
1) and 2) are done, but need testing.
Overall, things seem to be running smoothly.
Thanks for the support!
