🕑 Added 2021-06-06 23:06:43 +0000 UTCAs is customary, the update post after a release is usually a bit shorter. See the previous release (v0.019) for what was finished off at the start of the week.
The 2nd half of the week was a little quieter as I took a breather after the mad dash to get v0.019 out.
I have about 6 or 7 harlot scenarios in various degrees of progress. Now that I'm not restricted on trying to balance the number of harlot types, I went back to the Executrix Boob Smotherer. Still a bit iffy on her scenario. I think that one slipped down the wrong path, so I need to the pull it back and put it on the right track again.
I also started a new idea based on the Nuru Nuru Girl from one of my H-space stories. Her Bad End trigger is pretty silly, and once I had that, I had the scenario. She'll probably be a very early round harlot. I got about 30-50% through her 1st draft.
Next week is a little up in the air. I'm not sure if I'll be continuing work on the in-progress harlots or switching tack and building a website to host a public demo of "House of Hellish Harlots". There are also a few minor bug fixes I want to fix now that the end of month rush is over. I think there will be a mid-month v0.020 release which will just be the bug fixes for a the public demo version and then an end of month v0.021 with whatever new harlots I managed to finish before the end of the month.
One thing I will post next week is an updated road map with my future plans.
I'm happy with how HoHH is coming together. I'm hoping you're having fun playing it.

Yup, partially answered above. More advanced skip options so players don't have to click through the same intro text for the 10th or more time is a must.

There was a discussion in an earlier post about some form of auto-filling diary that would store the information that your character gathers about the various harlots. Maybe this "diary" could list the number of scene for each harlot, e.g. by having a certain number of lines with "..." to begin with, which would represent the different scenes?

A skip function for all the intro conversations (including the barman, getting the mulligan token, etc would encourage players to keep playing through plus bad ends). As for the executive characters, maybe have an mulligan token with an automatic loss scene to encourage players to work through the game? Also, I figure anyone who buys the game will probably be patient enough with an all text game to work their way through it. Just my 2 cents.

Unlocking the various harlot scenes is getting increasingly difficult and complicated. Are you sure that is the direction you want to take it in? I fear that many of your fans and players of the game will not get to see the majority of the hard work and effort you put into it because it's just too difficult to unlock. My apologies if that sounds negative or critical. I would much rather give the positive feedback about the harlot scenes that I know they deserve but I can't. I can't because I haven't managed to see them yet. That Said. I do totally love the job you have done with the artificial girls. They are my favourite type by a wide margin :-) I thought the idea of recycling some of the girls from your previous stories is a great idea. Have you considered using it in both directions? I would love to read full blown stories about some of the HoHH Npc's Especially a nice long explanatory story about the doctoress and her artificial creations. That would make for some amazing reading. May I also recommend offering a faster exit from the handsome barman's dialogue? Those who have already read it, do get horribly trapped in a repetitive clickathon just to unlock access to the npc's of the game. Many thanks for listening to my two pence worth and for writing all those wonderful stories.
