Update - 3rd Jan '21
🕑 Added 2021-01-03 23:53:25 +0000 UTCIt's the first update of the new year!
Monday was great. I wrote, implemented and tested the potion system. There are some specific side effects I wanted, and the system does what I want it to.
Then I hit some technical problems after my laptop charger died and I had to wait for a replacement. I took that as an indication we are in the holiday period and I maybe should take a couple of days off for a break.
Then it was back to The Doctoress, the House's resident Drug Dea... ahem... Potion Seller.
Her sections are in a fairly mixed state:
Potions and Effects: Implemented and tested.
Introductory segments: Written and Typed up.
Semen Extraction functionality: Written.
For some of those segments, I was a little too much in short-story-writer mode rather than game-writer mode, so I'll need to edit those down. The semen extraction parts should be fun for the player (the Doctoress has a knack for making sex toys), so I'll likely keep them reasonably lengthy and just give the player the option to skip right to the coins on later visits.
It's a little chaotic, but I'm hoping to stitch it together and get most of her scenes implemented and tested next week. Originally, I was intending her to be her own release, but depending on how smoothly things go next week, I might look to add a couple of harlots from the already-written pile and make that the January release.
Happy New Year and let's hope it's better than the last one!
