So what kind of beard do you think is suitable for a character - the captain of an English ship, in the 18th century. This is a very plump man, about 40-50 years old. He belongs to the nobility, and has a high position in society. This character is starring and will be the sexy daddy bear.

I think the beard should go higher up onto the temples to make it appear fuller - also think the beard itself should be wider and be more reflectant of a seafaring style beard
Big side burns plus Long wide moustache and no hair on the middle of the chin would be hot too. Trucker style.
