🕑 Added 2025-03-28 16:02:18 +0000 UTCsorry for the delay, i had a super bad headache yesterday! anyways this week's request idea is by Piper Malone , who requested a group of 1920 archeologists discovering and cataloguing some artifacts belonging to the greek god pan , who apparently is so pleased by their work he blesses them with new, faun like forms! I wanted to not only make the guys look like a 1920 group of archeologist, but make the illustration also feel like it was made at the time, taking inspiration from Winsor Mc Cay , author of little nemo, and a bit of comic strips that were popular around that time like gasoline alley by Frank King . Hope you like it peeps, and really looking forward for the story, piper! XD
p.s. as always, the full resolution file is attached to the post, and i'd suggest you peeps who are subscribed watch that instead of the one above , it took a long time doing all that crosshatching XD

Oh, huh! I was gonna comment that the art style felt more akin to Herge, but I can see the coloring and lighting being very Windsor McCay. :0 Very nice! I'm a big fan of this window of time being used as pastiche in art, and this is a really fun way to incorporate that with a horno satyr tf piece :0
