I’m sorry for the late reply Kai! My notifications aren’t the best at notifying me sometimes ; o ; I agree with your sentiment though. Being the weird kid can make it tough for some of us socially. Finding like minded people can be a challenge but when you do you can really appreciate the genuine friendship that forms ^_^

Very chill vibes in this one, but I feel that's the best way to portray a bar scene. I like how the two are able to bond over dating struggles, and feels like a chat between friends. I think a struggle in being 100% genuine about yourself is when you grew up being picked on as a weird kid, so while you may not be putting on a facade you might not laying down all your cards on the table in case you push them away with something that you're not sure if they vibe with. Then again, pulling that bandage off with an otherwise complete stranger is probably better now than later, and for all you know you're likely overthinking things and she could be completely chill about it

Oh man, I’m just now seeing a few comments on this audio so apologies for the late reply ; o ; I’m really glad you enjoyed this one though, thank you! I definitely believe being yourself is the best choice, for any type of relationship, be it romantic or friend. Those that are worth it will like people for who they are; at least that’s what I think :P

Ahh, finally getting the chance to listen! First off, great audio as always. But with this yea, 100%with just being yourself, and learning to just take care of yourself first and foremost and I'm done with the dating sites (honestly, having a sinewy muscle bound woman in her 50s trying to flirt with you is terrifying lol) and I'm hoping I'll find someone doing what I enjoy doing ^_^ so that is actually some pretty good advice. And same with the conversational stuff, I'd rather know the real person, their hopes, dreams, hobbies, ok, yea, favorite foods too because I love cooking and need ideas :P small talk can be fine, but only to break the ice for the actual deep conversations. As for the listener and the bartender ... when's the followup where the listener asks her out? :P

Good for you Moy! I’m that way too for the most part. I kinda have to keep up a certain persona for work of course (customers, etc.) but when I’m out or just talking with people I like to be myself. If people don’t like that then we probably wouldn’t have vibed anyway so it’s whatevs :P

Whiskey on the rocks? I have great taste! There's few things I enjoy more than a good conversation. A good bartender is full of stories. Some of my favorite bar experiences have been drinking with a friend or two and we hog up a bartender because we get into deep conversation; before you know it we have the bartender sitting with us having a drink too lol I like this bartender a lot. I don't think she's being harsh at all, she's being real. Sometimes it does feel like modern dating is all artificial bullshit. I've never liked putting on a fake persona and I like to think I can tell when someone is putting one up. It doesn't matter if it's meeting a partner, family, or friends, these days I'm always myself and I'm always honest. I've met a lot of people who don't like that, but I dont care :P I'll never betray myself for the sake of someone else.

I agree completely! I’ve found a hair on my plate (mixed into the food) before and just up and left lol. I’m not dealing with that 😂 As for my favorite cooking shows, Hells Kitchen definitely! I also like Good Eats and Top Chef ✨ Anything with Gordon Ramsey or Alton Brown I love :3

It’s a small thing but it makes me think if they can’t keep the stuff their serving me on clean what else isn’t clean back there in the kitchen. No such thing as to many cooking shows what are your favorites? Mine are probably iron chef Hell’s Kitchen cutthroat kitchen and good eats are probably my favorites.

I know it’s a small thing but clean glassware without smudges and water spots is really important! I think it annoys me more when it’s on the plates though ; o ; Perhaps I’ve watched too many kitchen/cooking shows; they are a big obsession of mine haha! XD

The ice sounds were really nice and relaxing. I can’t begin to say how much appreciate her making sure the glasses are clean thee ammount of times I’ve gone out and the glasses utensils and dishwear are all filthy and I just wanna walk out and leave.
