Someone else mentioned it but I suppose Ali can be kinda like Marnie with her emo/punk style. I think those two would make for good friends thinking about it :P I LOVE Sableye! ✨ I remember when he got introduced and loving how creepy he looked lol 😆 His mega evolution is nice too!

Of course! Murkrow and Sableye are friendly rivals lol :P As for Espeon and Umbreon, I wanted to play on the idea of me working both night and day shift at my job sometimes haha! XD I thought their evolution lines played in nicely with that ✨ Ohh, I like your pokemon trainer/team idea! I always loved when the anime played on a trainer’s pokemon to help them with things. Like how Tracey’s Maril and Venonat could help him detect where pokemon were to research :D

Good question! :D Their names are: Mimikyu (female) = Mimichu (to match mine lol) Umbreon (female) = Luna (Moon ftw!) Espeon (female) = Amethyst Gengar (male) = Alister (boy version of my name and because I love Alister the gym leader lol) Murkrow (male) = Birdy bird Sableye (male) = phosphophyllite (I like Land of the Lustrous and gems make sense for this one xD)

Oh crap! I thought I commented! But ooh, her design came out great! I bet she'd look great pixelized and turned into a pokemon battle sprite in that exact pose too! And yea.. yea, that team checks out :P seems like a natural team without being too competitive, and I'm guessing Gengar and Sableye would be the two main fighters

Really love the trainer design! Punk/emo totally fits - if it's not an official trainer type, it should be. xD And that team is solid! Mimikyu as the main partner is perfect, and having both Umbreon and Espeon is such a nice duo pick. :3 Also, gotta say, huge respect for including Sableye - it's such a rare pick, and I highly approve! Definitely underrated but such a fun and mischievous Pokemon. :D

I'm glad we got to know what the team line up is! ...But I'm surprised by the lack of Dragonite :P I like that team. It doesn't scream hyper competitive to me the way other people make their teams, it just seems fun.

What a fun lineup! I love the team dynamics and everything. I'm laughing my head off at Murkrow and Sableye fighting over shiny things—but they love each other deep down, right? ...right? :P And I love the Espeon and Umbreon combo, do they have any backstory together? Seeing this makes me want to think through what sort of team I'd have, too. It's been forever since I've done this outside of just the games, so maybe I'm not good at coordinating a vibe? If I lived in a world that was like the Pokemon one, where there's ancient ruins all around the world that are easier to access than what I might have access to in real life, I might like to see myself as an explorer. Maybe I'd put together a team out of some of my favorites that'd most help with spelunking? Bronzong to help move debris and rubble, Leafeon to freshen up the stale, centuries-old air, either Duskull or Misdreavus to phase through walls and find hidden passages, that kind of thing.
