Thank you so much Kai! I also have some nice memories catching fireflies as a kid. Funny enough they are one of the few bugs I didn’t mind touching me lol xD

This was a very sweet interaction. The rain sounds and glass tapping were nice to listen too, and we made a new little friend that can keep the rock pet company. Firefly catching was something I remember doing a lot during the summers when I was a little kid; was always nice to seem them flashing about, and they nice to hold in your hand. From the art, I like how firefly girl has a fairy look to her.

I think it's incredible luck that of all the people to run into during a storm, Firefly Girl just *happens* to run into the person taking their pet rock out for a walk, jar already in hand. That's some Looney Tunes coincidence right there and I love it. Also made me chuckle a bit hearing that having a jar to live in was a *condition* for her accepting the invite, I initially would've thought it would've been the opposite. I guess I need to read up on Firefly Girl culture, huh?

All my best to you and the Alicats as well~ 🐾 I know exactly what you mean, but while some people definitely have different levels of 'skill issue' when it comes to scents, I think a lot of the time with this they just don't know what they're smelling. xD To be technical, it isn't Petrichor itself that we detect; it's a specific compound included in it called Geosmin, which it is believed humans can detect at concentrations as low as 5 parts per trillion! Even by the standards of the animal (or monster girl) kingdom, that falls well within the realm of hypersensitivity. :3

Oh my gosh, pie day- I didn’t even realize that! XD I wish I would have known ahead of time, it would have been a great opportunity to make a mathematician or something of the like. I knew the chance of surviving a lightning strike was high but didn’t know about what they left behind, that’s pretty cool looking!

Perhaps it’s Rock-chan 2, return of the boulder!? :o I’d say she definitely lucked out with finding a home! She even has a rock roommate to help her with rent! Lol 😆 It’s funny because after writing this I realized just how long it had been since I had seen any fireflies. Granted it’s only been close to a year since moving for me but I remember a lot more growing up!

Yes, I love the smell of rain! I also love the feeling in the air right before a storm is about it hit- it’s the best ✨ I didn’t know that about us though. I’ve had a few friends and family members be like, “What smell?” And I just go, “How do you not smell that?!” lol 😆 I’m glad you enjoyed this one Shadowkitty and hope you have a nice weekend! ❤️

Hope you’re enjoying the new patch for the game! Tbh, I caught fireflies when I was a kid but feel a little bad looking back on it. I don’t think any bug necessarily likes being kept in a jar, at least not for long periods of time! XD

Fun fact lightning has about 90% survival rate and the lichtenberg figures they leave behind think look really cool maybe I’m a bit crazy but getting struck would be kinda cool after the fact imo. I’ve only caught firefly’s a couple of times when there were tons of them gathered in one spot it was so beautiful I wish I had admired it more looking back being an adult now I don’t have the time to do stuff like that very often sometimes just sitting down and admire the view is something we need definitely took that for granted growing up now any chance I get to take it slow for a second and just take in the surroundings I try to this big ball of dirt we live on is pretty damn beautiful when you really look at it. Well I’m glad we made the cute firefly’s girls dream to see rain and lightning come true and provided a pristine jar with company from rock for her to live in.this audio was really nice the sounds the story all very Cosy thanks for the relaxation Ali! Funny to think that even monster girls like Pokemon. And did I hear that right? Are we really talking about THE Rock-chan here? :O Our little firefly really hit the jackpot, didn’t she? Not only did she get to see the thunder up close, but she also scored a new home! (Or should we already consider the jar a proper house because of the size difference? Hm...) With the current cost of living, she really lucked out. :P Also relieved that it turned out to be a symbiotic relationship - I was really afraid we'd just catch her outright. We're no monsters after all! D: Unfortunately, I never had the chance to catch fireflies myself. We didn’t really have many where I live, and I can probably count on one hand the times I even saw one. :( Thanks for the amazing audio again, Ali! ❤️

What a cute little lightning bug~ She's just drawn to the power of her lineage. :3 There's definitely something about it.. The feeling of a storm on the horizon, the scent of rain and fresh earth. ❤️ To the contrary of our little friend's compliments, human olfactory senses are not incredibly potent compared to many... But ironically the biggest exception IS that specific scent of petrichor. It's argued that our ability to detect it is even more powerful than a shark's ability to scent blood. :3 Thank you as always, I love the inclusion of the actual thunder rumbles!

Glad this dropped once I got done playing the 1.6 version of ZZZ. Gonna listen to this then give my thoughts about it. Edit: Honestly I enjoy it, but I've never actually caught a firefly before because I couldn't imagine myself wanting some glowing bug for a night time night light. That and also because I haven't seen fireflies in my area for a long time.

Rock-chan! Fooled that supposed Rock God after all! Eleven years going strong! Firefly Monster Girls are sure quick to accept accommodations in jars, huh? Living in the woods, especially at that size, would... not be good. But wouldn't it be nice to have free access to fly around in the house? Or do Firefly Monster Girls just naturally go by a rule of "Well, you caught me, now you get to keep me in a jar"? XD Speaking of jar: those lid sounds. It's been a while since I've felt the commonly described as tingles running up my spine. The rain tapping was really nice, too. It's fun how things can be played around with to sound like something else. Thank you for the nice ASMR as always!

I remember catching fireflies out in the field during summer. It was a common nighttime event, especially when my cousins were visiting. Funny enough, we also had a good porch for watching rain, so this reminded me of a couple memories!
